XY New Camera Feature

THIS. We get new 3D Pokemon, awesome. In game camera, sounds cool enough. Only take pictures of the trainer in front of buildings, forests, maybe some sculptures... what? I would still use it, but not nearly as much if it was just the trainer standing there.

I would want to see a picture of trainers with their Pokemon team, meaning you could pose with 1-6 Pokemon of your choosing. Maybe you can scroll through different poses with your Pokemon like thumbs up, tough guy arms, silly face, you get the idea. Getting to stand with your Pokemon without a pose would be fine and a great step forward, but how awesome would it be if your Charizard was shooting a flamethrower into the air while your Machamp was quad-flexing his arms? Just as an example. For X Y that won't happen, but you can't blame a guy for dreaming...

I loved the pictures in HGSS, and being able to get a photo of me and my team, also seeing how much they grew between photos... so I would like it back, but in 3d. Also, with trainer customization, and 3d pokemon, that team would now be more yours than anything.

Completely agree, but I always wished that the graphics were better than having a bunch of clearly pixelated pokemon with the clearly pixelated trainer. If this is anything like that, with the new, awesome architecture, I will be thrilled.

Seems pretty cool how the camera has aperture, brightness, and focus settings. Hopefully we get to take pictures with our pokemon otherwise it would
be pretty pointless. I just noticed that the walls of the palace are superiors

It would be nice to have an Album inside the game, and be able to share pictures of your progress with your in-game friends. Do you think Trip (in the anime) had something to do with this? He was always taking pictures. Maybe that was the first hint for this function.

I believe in 3DS games where you can take screenshots in-game (such as Animal Crossing: New Leaf), the files are saved on the SD card upon taking the screenshots.

I think it's less that Trip inspired this and more that Trip and this were both inspired by the same thing: the current fad of taking photos of everything. Everyone nowadays loves taking photos about everything about their lives, and looks like GF wants to get in on that.

Kind of a shame, really; I would have loved a more Pokémon Snap-like minigame than just an in-game camera with a bunch of features that lets me take tonnes of pictures of my player character like I'm some kind of tourist/blogger.

Cool feature, but I'm not one to take pictures (or videos for that matter) of my in-game character with or without the pokémon to share with everyone else, unless it was something really marvelous or unusual.

Though, more features the better (as long as the features make sense). Shows GF isn't going to stick with the "same old, same old" mentality with features.
