XY New Eeveelution besides Sylveon ?!

Hey dudes!
Here is my question for you : Do you think another Eeveelution will appear in Pokemon X/Y besides Sylveon. I think there is a high possibility for that , 'cause in every Generation Eevee gets 2 Evolutions , not only one. There are always counterwise. Psiana and Umbreon , one has advantages over the other ( Dark Type super effective against Psychic Type). Glaceon and Leafeon ( Ice Type being Superior to the Grass Type) .

Therefore there are a few possibilities for Slyveon being on one hand inferior to another Eeveelution ( meaning Eevee gets an Poison , Steel or maybe Ice Evolution, according to the leaks of the TypeChart and the Fairytype or on the other hand being superior (resulting in an Eeveelution of Fighting or Dragon Type).

Only 2 out of the current 5 generations had two eeveelution released. Gen 2 and 4
Gen 1 had 3. Gen 3 had 0 gen 5 had 0 so strictly speaking there is no pattern to the number released at a time

I think there is a pattern like people say there is a pattern in releasing remakes. There are only remakes of two generations but people believe in upcoming remakes. :)
 
If there would be a new Eeveelution it wouldn't be ice (Glaceon says hi).

I'd like another one but the cover girl for the fairy type (Sylveon) would overshadow a new Eeveelution.
 
I would welcome with open arms (if it had a good design) a Poison type eevolution.
If its possible that there's another eevolution coming for X/Y that's another question...I think that maybe GF only came up with Sylveon to introduce the Fairy type just like the elemental monkeys are there to ilustrate the triple battle and so on, so maybe it's unlikely to see another one. Still, it's only a bet so only one way to find out: wait. =D

Haha you're right . In one sentence I write about glaceon and in the other I forget about it completely :D
Means there is room for a dragon type eeveelution or a poison type. Steel type is unlikely in my opininion. :D

That's a nice way of thinking. I thought that like the rumoured second mewtwo form there could be another eevee type. Of course they want to surprise us like : hey here another eeveelution and noone ecpected it :D
 
Don't get me wrong I'd love a poison eeveelution, but sadly i don't see it happening :(
Like inferchomp said, sylveon has had too much hype and coverage for there to be another one
 
Generation 2 covered against psychic types, but they still revealed a Psychic and Dark eeveelution.
Generation 4 brought us Leafeon which was weak against Glaceon.
Generation 6 brought us Sylveon which was strong against Dragon types, so if there were to be a second eeveelution revealed, it would be Dragon-Type.
 
I personally want one, but with Sylveon's publicity and Fairy type and all, I'd imagine if it did happen, it would probably just be there in game.
It could be featured in CoroCoro, but tbh with Sylveon's hype and all, there's not much that could be done on par with Sylvie (in terms of publicity).

Poison/Dragon/whatever Eevee:
"Here's another Eeveelution. It's Poison. Look, it has an interesting move/ability. We're not gonna talk about this much more because we can't use it for publicity like we did Sylveon."

Don't get me wrong, I would love a Poison Eevee. There may not even be any revelation of it beforehand, it could just be there ingame.

The sheet that people usually throw the Poison type eevee on are really full of holes to be honest.
I can't see a Poison Eeveelution released alongside Sylveon. Dragon makes more sense, but yes, Sylveon had hype to compare.
 
I don't think another Eevee evo is impossible. I think they could overcome the Sylveon hype by releasing 2 more Eevee evos, so they'd have 3 like the first gen.
 
Dragon-type Eeveelution, all the way, it'd be interesting to see what they could come up with, as well as if they added this Dragon-type, they couldn't throw Flying into the mix like they do with most Dragons + the ability, oh lawdy lemme see Dragon Eevee's ability.

How does Dragon make more sense than anything?
If you're pulling the '1-SE-on-the-other' card, then that logic is fail since Fairy is rumoured (and by that I mean all but confirmed) to be weak to Poison.

Poison could also have a disturbing, slightly horrific appearance to contrast Sylveon's pink cutesy feel.
 
I HIGHLY doubt that there will be another Eeveelution this generation...but that got me thinking? Were all the other Eevelutions released at the same time? I can't remember and was wondering if anyone knew if Espeon/Umbreon and Glaceon/Leafeon were released at the same time or separately?

iirc Leafeon and Glaceon weren't revealed before D/P were released

There's already a thread about what new pokemon or evolutions you would like to see....and everything said in this thread has been said there. That's none of my business, no, but do people really worship eevee so hard that speculation on one eeveelution is worth a whole new thread?

I think we've got more than enough of the things and they almost all look alike. I would always rather see something new than another slot wasted on the tired old gag of eeveelutions.

I would enjoy a poison, ghost or bug eeveelution but only if they made it uncharacteristically creepy for an eevee; a misfit or "bad" eevee. My favorite bug-type fakemon eeveelution was one controlled by a parasitic insect.
