Ok, so PT is a new block. Deoxys and Holon Phantoms weren't new blocks. Instead of HP-on, it should have been DS-on, based on your "logic". >___>

EX was one big block. All of the sets started with "EX".
All of the Diamond & Pearl sets start with "Diamond & Pearl".
And the Platinum sets start with "Platinum".

I know that. But Deoxys and Holon Phantoms are nothing special within the EX block. They just did random formats/cuts. x_x

:O How can you say that. Deoxys was in DX and EM and HP. It was all about keeping Deoxys in the format. Really though, DX and EM both had Deoxys (ex) and rotating DX meant that EM had a lone Deoxys ex and a lone regular Deoxys (not counting the delta versions). HP is probably because they had to rotate 9 sets, and instead of rotating 3 set in 3 years, they wanted to rotate 5 and 4, so DS had to go, and since LM should have been before DS, not after (I think I heard it somewhere), they rotated LM out too.

And therin lies the PTCG problem. They release too many Pokemon over many sets and evolutions without stupid pre-evolutions, causing them to muck with the Format. Seriously, if it weren't for the Pokemon we can't play if GE gets rotated out, I wouldn't care at all.

As long as Majestic Dawn doesn't rotate out I'm fine, then again I'll be okay with keeping Great Encounters in Modified as well. IMO I think GE's gotta go despite the consequences it could have in the format.

Unown G is too annoying, Claydol GE and Uxie LA might not see much play next set when Power Spray gets abused like crazy in Pokemon-SP decks with the new GL Pokemon not just in G decks.

Then again I may be jumping the gun so we'll just wait and see what happens. Rayquaza I hear is gonna be one of the new archetypes to play when Rising Rivals comes out, Flygon's a possibility as well...
