Pokemon New gym leader and Elite Four of D/P

Will there be double battling or single battling or will it be both in the gym matches?:)

OMG!! That's just the worst thing that could happen!! Fighting the League or a gym that uses Draggy-type Pokémon would be 4x harder without Blizzard or any other ice move to support you!! Doing that would make things a lot harder!! And a Metal/Dragon type is a REALLY BROKEN thing!! Weakness to what? Almost nothing!! Just Ground/Fighting!!
That's pretty invalid and doesn't even draw a point.

Sableye-Ghost/Dark-isn't weak to anything at all, and cannot even be affected by Normal, Fighting, or Psychic. Kingdra has a weakness to just Dragon, and that's not a very easy type to come by. No one freaks out over Kingdra, and really, he's not even used too much. Ground and Fighting aren't tough types to come by. Having one Steel/Dragon isn't bad. In fact, I believe it's a very good idea. I wanna see Steel/Ghost, Steel/Dragon, Steel/Ice, and Steel/Dark.

Same here and Sableye is weak to something and that's ghost and they should make other combonations with dragon I'm sick of Dragon dies to Ice beam there are only 5 dragons not double weak to Ice Shelgon, Bagon, Dratini,Dragonair, and Kingdra.
they should make a Legendary trainer with legendaries

I wish the Gym battles had more rules. Like the first few wouldn't, but as you got farther things like this would happen:

You start in a double battle. No substitutions. Once one trainers Pokemon have both fainted, the battle changes to a Single Battle with unlimited substitutions. Trainers may use all remaining Pokemon.

Something like what they do in the TV show would make it more interesting.
And no, Sableye has zero weaknesses. Just look at a type chart.

Thats would be cool, but I heard from a -{unoffical}- source that one of the Gym Battles include a task where you have to catch a team of Pokemon (via a Rod) and battle with those Pokemon. Just a rumour but a good one, no dought.

Ok I admit it but Sableye does have one weakness and a very rare one at that it's called Bug type and I even have a chart next to me

But back to topic maybe a double trainer like Psychic and Fighting (a balance gym)

I like the double type idea but...

Sableye has no weaknesses. Bug isn't very effective against Sableye, so it can't be supereffective on him even if Bug is supereffective on Dark. He has no weaknesses.

I have gotten a super effective on a Sableye and if I remeber correctly there's an attack to let normal and fighting attacks hit a ghost and when used normal is then supereffective to ghosts but that was on Crystal

Yeah now it is psychic and confusion and psychic are both super effective and ghost attacks are super effective on ghost pokemon such as shadow ball and that attack is also super effective on wobbuffet.:)

Yes, that is true. There are actually two attacks, Foresight and Odor Sleuth that allow Normal and Fighting type attacks to hit a Ghost type, thus Fighting would be super-effective on Sableye. But in reality, Sableye has no weaknesses. Just because he has a weakness if you happen to have a Pokemon with Foresight/Odor Sleuth that's a fighting type, doesn't mean that Sableye is really weak against Fighting. He is only weak against Fighting under the circumstance of another move. Lastly, Foresight and Odor Sleuth are uncommonly used in battle, for the fact that most of the time they're extremely unhelpful. There are only 10 (correct me if I'm wrong) Ghost type Pokemon in the game. Why make two attacks targeting one thirty-ninth of the Pokemon in the game?

Although this statement is hard to decipher, I think you're asying that Psychic and Ghost are super-effective on Sableye. (correct me if I'm wrong again) If so, that is not true. Psychic doesn't affect Sableye due to his Dark type, and altough Ghost is weak against Ghost, Dark is resistant to Ghost. Sableye has no weaknesses!!!!
Ughh, a lot of typing.

they need to have a fire E4. it is starting to bug me that they never have. at least i'm pretty sure they haven't.

a Steel Gym. that'd be easy, get a fire or something and own. unless they come out with some broken dual type for it.

Arcanine out.

Yeah they do because the already have a fire gym leader. and they should make more than 4 elite trainers too. It should be 8 at least because we have 8 gym leaders but only 4 elite trainers so we should have more trainers and it will make it more fun too. That way we may get a dark or metal trainer and not just mixed pokemon like it has been since the beginning.:)

If they did have gyms of certain types, maybe the gym leaders could use certain strategies to make beating them alot harder. Like a fire gym might use sunnyday and flashfire, while a ground gym might play with the earthquake/levitate thing.
