I like that TCPi seems to be fixing something that they might've unintentionally broke in terms of item lock.
Or at least trying to fix it. I'm still probably not even thinking about competitively using a Stage 2 until next season. Unless they come out with some weird Team Flare items that let you ignore the lock effect. Come to think of it... that'd be awesome.

That would be a pretty interesting thing to see, maybe a stadium card that reads "when this stadium is in play ignore all effects from attacks of yours and your opponents pokemon except damage." It would cancel out things like Seismitoad's item lock, Machamp's damage reduction, Gengar/Donphan from retreating to the bench, any status conditions that would occur, etc etc.

In the mean time though they need to make a supporter to fill the roll of rare candy in order to give stage 2 decks a chance against the item lock.

A semi-reprint of Broken Time-Space with some sort of restriction might be the best for the game. It'll give Stage 2 decks a chance to fight alongside Big Basics in the format.

Is it safe to assume the new Heliolisk's Ability only works when it's active (since, at this moment, it doesn't specify it on the translation)?

Heliolisk is, meh. It's attack is bad, low HP, and it's ability is just a worse Think Fat from Hariyama.

My gosh, that Healing Raiment.
Welp, move over, Max Potion. I've got a new addition to my deck.
