New Player: Help me Build my First Deck!

Hi everyone, I have recently been getting into the Pokemon TCG by going to a few pre-releases and I have been wanting to make a deck, Judging from the cards I have collected I need some help making my first deck. Here is my list of cards I have and hope I got enough to make a semi respectful deck since I plan to join a league in my city. I am really interested in a Ho-Oh deck but not sure if I should start with one since I am a beginner. I will obviously only post cards that seem to be competitive from other stuff I read on here. Thanks and hopefully somebody can help me get started playing a great game! :D

Ho-Oh EX deck eh? versatile and strong and you even have 4 Pokemon Catcher, this should be easy enough then. It's not a very hard deck to pilot but it doesn't mean you just auto-win once you get a Rebirth or two off. Now with all that you listed, this is what you can start with

This isn't a full list (obviously) but this should be a good enough skeleton to base your deck off. You're going to want to add a 4th Ultra Ball just to increase your chance of being able to discard energy and any Ho-Oh EX's in your hand. I would also advise you obtain at least 2 Terrakion NV as that is going to be your main attacker against most decks and you key to victory against Darkrai Variants. Maybe even add a 4th Ho-Oh EX just because it's always nice having a greater chance of getting it into your discard pile.

Now if you want an even simpler deck to start off with then you can even go with a Darkrai EX/Hydreigon deck. It's not the fastest Darkrai Ex variant, but the ability to just wipe all the damage off a damaged Darkrai EX with Max Potion is a game changing move. You will need a 3rd and maybe a 4th Darkrai EX as well as 3 Sableye (obtainable from a theme deck).
 
A few ideas would be...

2 darkarai EX (3 if you can get it)
3-1-2 Hydrogein (3rd hydrogein if you can get it) (Dark Trance)
2 Mewtwo EX
1 Boufalant DRX but use 2 sableye instead if you can get it (2 Sableye, dark explorers)

1 Scramble Switch (computer search if you can get it)
3 Ultra Ball (4 if you can get it)

1 Random Reciever (2 Crushing Hammer if you can get it)

This deck is a Darkari/Hydreigon deck. This deck attacks with darkarai and moves energy with Hydreigon and it uses max potion to heal darkarai without discarding energy. Fun Deck! I did not count the cards but it should be around 60ish IDK... NEXT

Use ho-oh for accelerationa nd tank with mewtwo and Registeel, Sigilyph for disruption and shaymin EX for late win. Use ultra Ball, Juniper to discard ho-oh and basic energy as soon as possible. Fun Deck. Again not sure how many cads! NEXT...
