New pokemon cards have been shown. They are showing the last evolution starter pokemon, plus other B/W pokemon. here is the cards-

So I guess it's true that the previous Pokemon artwork isn't Sugimori, but some bad-looking 3D artwork. At least the actual card pictures are good.

What?! Gliscor, I gotta disagree with you. This art is flippin' awesome. Except for Daikenki, which is too bad. Such great design wasted on Masakazu Fukuda. Kagemaru Himeno manages to make Mizenumi not look totally awful. Who did Enbuoo? Because it's prolly my favorite. Dokkoraa appears to be done by match. I like it, though the pose is weird. Also, what's with the silouette above the Pokedex entry? I'm still super excited, no matter how you spin this news.

Those are awesome! Very nice graphics except for the very bottom one. I don't think it was made by Sugimori though.

Calm down, man. Gliscor was talking about the *shutters* evolution artwork. As in the little circle thing above the real art. Anyway, I've got to agree with both of your opinions on the cards. Even though I don't play competitively, I can't wait for these to come out in English.

those cards are nice except for the fighting dude but i just collect the cards so it will be in my collection

Like others have been saying, The bottom pokemon card is plain, they could have did a better job, I am not saying it is bad, just saying they could've done better.

Not bad, not bad. I swear, each time I see those starter evolutions in different artwork, I like them just a little bit more :)
