New Pokemon Type?

What do you think? Should we even have a new one? Obviously unless the 5th gen contains a new element or is planned to, they can't just pull something out of their rear ends. BUT, for a long time now, the game's hardcore base has been wanting a pure flying type for a long time...maybe they could finally implement it, and add it to the TCG. New energies, new versions of old cards, all dedicated to the pure flying type...

...or maybe there could be something totally different. Got any ideas?
 
They should make Flying apart. Flying is quite a huge group after all. Most of the Dragons can share that area too, bringing diversity in the weakness department.
 
So what, have flying type pokemon separate from colourless in the card game maybe? Well I noticed in the past on some old japanese promo things that flying is sometime indicated with pink. So flying cards may be pink in the future, which would be weird. It would be a bit of a change, but I got used to dark and steel pokemon cards so I can get used to this.
 
Flying Pokemon are destined to be the only one Pokemon without a pure one of it's type, it can't stand alone, ao Ghost, they should have a Ghost type and energy
 
Yeah Ghost energy would be cool. Some Symbol like the Fog Badge from Pokemon Silver, that one looked sweet.

Yeah, that would be cool and Ice types should have their own type too, and not be under the Water type and use Water energies
 
Well if Ghost and Ice deserve their own, flying do too, because there are many more.
 
The only problems with that would mean less Pokemon of certain types, making it difficult to make a deck. If anything they'll makea new type since types are based on elements. (But air and normal are pretty different). Mabey they'll make rubber pokemon:) If anyone has any ideas for a new type they should post it (not spam it)
 
Poison should be a new type. Instead of switching around from Grass to Psychic, why shouldn't have its own type? Flying is considerable too, with the Dragons and birds.
 
I think that the most important types that deserve an energy are ghost, flying, ice and poison.
 
If they were to ever implement a new type in the TCG, I'd say that at this point, it would be flying (I would have said poison, but since poison just got switched to psychic, I'm sure that's a lasting change). There are more flying Pokémon, I believe, than the other types who are lumped into another category in the TCG.
 
I think any more would be overdoing it
They pretty much covered everything with the types they have now

with the ending of delta species it would be harder to create a new type at all

So what, doesn't cover the fact that there aren't nearly as many Ice types as flying, or even poison.
 
They shouldn't really diverse the types but make 2 type pokemon and not the ones from DS and such but actual correct types, Torterra Grass/Fighting, Infernape Fire/Fighting, Empoleon Water/Steel.....Lucario Fighting/Steel, Quagsire Fighting/Water and so on.
