New PSP Revision

According to Gamespot and other sites, Sony is releasing a new PSP Slim revision in October (PSP-3000 Series). It will have some new features (or gimmicks, if you view them as such) like a built-in microphone, a better screen that will make playing in direct sunlight possible, and video output of games will now be able to work on non-progressive TVs. It will come in the basic black, white, and silver models and will cost the same as the current models and configurations. Do you think they really needed to do this? I think that they have released ths way too soon, they should have waite at least another year. And im gojg to stick with my psp 200 too

I know, right? It feels like they just released the Slim and they're already making a new model.

As long as they don't make a successor to the PSP (e.g. DS was the successor to GBA), I'm fine. I hate it how they keep making new things, and because backward compatibility has all its problems, you have to buy nearly every console if you want to enjoy all the good games. And I'll be sticking with the PSP-2000 that I just bought recently. These "improvements" are rather pathetic, IMO.

This is the marketing strategy of these companies. They make the lousy things first, then make small improvements on them.

If I would buy id wait a year or two soo they can fix the glitches (which normally there are) and ya ill stick with my psp 2000

You're right. Now that I think about it, maybe I should have kept my original PSP. I've had my Slim for not even a year and it has stopped reading games completely. The only reason I'm keeping it now is because I have no other MP3 player.

That's why I don't get Sony crap anymore... :/
