New Shining Cards in IFDS?

I got this Duskull in my IFDS pack today. Is this the way the new Shining cards are? This is a red Duskull for sure, and Shining Duskull is red. The card has all these holographic sparklies all over...(the picture doesn't show em too well) So what's going on? Am I right, are these the new Shining Pokemon? Looks good if so.

Well, you get 2 of the same shiny in each box. I got Drifloon and Voltorb, but no Duskull >_>

And yes, that is the new shiny. The 3 new shinies are Duskull, Drifloon, and Voltorb. Check Pokebeach for more info, and congrats on pulling a very rare card :)!

not always. in mine, I got only one shiny duskull...but 2 charizard :p

Are you serious? 2 Charizard??? Wow... I only got 1 0__o. Great job on that :D.
 
Update- Dude! I just got Dusknoir Lv.X... It also has the Shiny sparklies like the Duskull...,
and the Lv.X foil...Is this a Shiny Dusknoir Lv.X?! The color actually does look right for Shiny Dusknoir!!

Anyway, the Dusknoir actually doesn't look shiny, IMO. It looks more redish like a normal Dusknoir...
 
That Dusknoir Lv. X is a normal-colored Dusknoir. It looks more red because it's being lit from the bottom by a red light.
 
I dunno it's just gonna take some time to get used to the new rarities and such...
 
So you are saying that the shiny pokemon are very rare to get??? mmmm.... I thought that they would be normal commons....
 
you don't always get 2, i got 1 and my brother got none (but i figure he didn't get one cuz he got the charizard line)
 
Crap.. I thought the shining Pokemon cards were just as rare as any other basic Pokemon card.. Of course that would just be way too cool to be true, wouldn't it?

Argh. The Drifloon isn't particularly great, but now I'm gonna have a blast trying to get like, 4 of the Voltorb..
 
I want Duskull shiny! It's got 60 hp which is so much better considering evil Sableyes patrolling with dark energies.
 
I hope that these new shiny cards are recieved well here in the US. (When IFDS comes over) I just hope they don't get confused with reverse holos and that people can identify them as being rarer than a Lv.X... Maybe PUSA should put the star by the name when they come over here...
