anyone else think its great? i think it is except for the fact that i am horrible at it.(i have been horrible at all of the GBA and DS)

As a big fan of 2D platformers, I'm really glad this got released. I guess there's not much to say, it's your average Mario platformer, not many innovations, but hey, at least the difficulty level is at least decent (compared to the DS, at least), and the world 9 levels are quite fun.
But nevertheless, I beat it in a weekend, still, fun game, and a definite must-have for any Wii owner who at least liked the older Mario games.

I especially like the multiplayer, and it's actually not as easy as you'd expect (except for the A-button, which makes everything just broken when it comes to not jumping to your doom), and 4-player coin battles and the likes can be quite fun.

I had been playing Super Mario Bros 3 on virtual console a bit before I got this, and this game made me feel very nostalgic lol. It's mainly a remake of Super Mario Bros 3 more than any other one. So many things brought back from SMB3, making SMBWii awesome. We finally get the koopaling fights and airship levels in good graphics.

i really wish they had made this for DS. being able to take it places is a lot better than only at home...

I'd have to disagree, the experience of once again playing a true Super Mario Bros. game on a big screen like it was intended to is amazing. I can never really get into portable games as much as console games, and the multiplayer would just not be the same.

But seriously, the world needs more console 2D-platformers, and NSMBWii is a step in the right direction.

If it was on DS some features wouldn't be the same or even there, like in the million instances when you have to shake or move the wii remote. They could use the stylus instead, but it'd be harder and more annoying. And what would tehy call the game? New New Super Mario Bros? lol.

I got it not too long ago, and I have to say it's very good. I'm not done with it yet (there's this level in World 4 that keeps killing me>.<) yet it is very good. The controls are pretty simple. It doesn't take too long to understand them. The powerups are also good. The Propellar suit is fun in Towers/places that make you go upwards, and the Penguin suit is fun as well.

I've been playing Multiplayer with my brother. It's interesting, but if things get too competitive, problems start to occour. Just for a stinking Fire Flower, I litterally picked up my brother and threw him off the edge (it's in the game, not real life.) Yep. You can kill your own partners too:0

Yeah I've done 4 player, and 1 player is 4 times easier in ways. The only benefit of multiplayer is more fun, and being able to come back as a bubble or turning into a bubble at will. It can be annoying how when you hit a block 3 mushrooms come out and then 1 fire flower so someone gets an advantage and you can even take all 4.

This game is great. A console platforming Mario game hasn't been made in a while and combining the best gameplay of Super Mario Bros, New Super Mario Bros. DS, Super Mario Bros 3, and Super Mario World and you have one of the best side scrolling platforming console games of the decade.

dmaster out.

I only play this game when my brothers are available to play or else it's too easy. It's fun purposely killing each other.

Right now I have 100% completed the first 3 worlds, as in I've completed all levels, collected all star coins, found all secret exits and gone to every toad house and made it disappear etc. The enemies on the world map constantly respawn so you can't permenantly kill them. I'm working on the rest of the worlds now.

As you can see in my sig, I noticed something funny about one of the koopalings...

I got the game about a week ago. I don't play much though thus I'm still on world 1. It's much better (and harder) than the DS version of it. New and interesting power-ups, interesting levels, and again, harder which is good since the DS game was fairly easy. The Wii controllers gives the game a new twist that it reeally needed.

Awesome game!

I like everything about the game except for the jumps. They float too much, and it's difficult to control them at times. (Or maybe I am just a major noob). Either way, it's a great game. I like hellicopter mario the best.

I think this game is on my top 4 games that I like. It is so fun, and I am glad I bought it.

it's a little on the easy side, multiplayer is fun, but not w/ my cousins, :(, world 9 was cool, but i sold it to my cuz...

We should start listing the fun we had in the game.

Recent fun with 4-player: After city's four of us played it, I was Luigi my friend was Mario when we fought over the green Yoish, I got it then had Yoish pick up my friend and spit him out at a piranha plant, he was normal Mario at the time.

I always eat my Yoshiless friends when riding Yoshi, and spit them out somewhere inconvenient. One time my friends spat me into each others mouths lol when riding Yoshis. But I found out that if you groundpound on someone riding a Yoshi you steal it XD

I was playing with my friend and we kept on jumping on each others heads. It was right below a platform of bricks and I was jumping for at least a minute. I also picked him up and threw him into something, but he picked me up and threw me right into death. We both pressed A by accident a couple times and killed ourselves lol.

dmaster out.
