New! Super Smash Bros. Brawl

I hope for more Pokemon but please, please no Pichu, Raichu or something like that. They are just different looking clones.

I'd like to see: Deoxys (Form Change, grabbing enemys with tentacles^^"), Tyranitar, or maybe some flying ones because there already are flying characters. Legendary Birds would be awsome (awwww, nobody will beat me while playing Zapdos XD).

Maybe Lukario, Dragonite, the Regis, Metagross, the Legendary Dogs, or Nidoking.

Hm, we'll see.

Wario is in the game... well, not really.  If you use the X or Y buttons to change Mario's outfit on the character select screen, he has a yellow and purple outfit.  Peach also has an outfit that looks like that of Daisy.

The previews at the Electronic Entertainment Exposition are pretty spectacular.  I have high expectations for this game, but there can be a lot of changes made between now and its release date in 2007.  Hopefully, they will get more stuff, and not have stuff cut out from the game.

Oh, and Meowth was in the original Super Smash Bros. for the N64.

Something that I've been throwing around for a while now, ever since I got SSBM, is the idea of a heavyweight Pokémon character, since all of the current ones are light.  I think Tyranitar would be a good fit; it could swing its tail and punch, throw rocks, bite the opponent, and unleash a Hyper Beam that would leave it in the same status as "shield shattered".

That is exactly what I've been thinking if there was a Tyranitar.

Entrance
Comes digging out of the ground in a cloud of dust and roars. Here's what I think he would do:

Moves:
A- slashes like Bowser
^A- slashes upwards with arm
\/A- slams tail on the ground
<>A- crunches with jaws

B- charges up a Hyper Beam and unleashes it on everything in it's path
^ throws a large boulder like Yoshi
\/B- unleahes a wide ranged earthquake that temporarily buries players. Like DK's attack.
<>B- a Koop Klaw type of attack

Taunt
Makes a tremendous roar like Tyranitar.

Grab
^ Throws opponent up high. Low damage
\/ Throws opponent down hard and slams them with tail. High damage
<> Punches opponent very hard. High damage.


What do you think of that. Now that's a SSB- Tyranitar;)
 
ya, this will be an AWESOME GAME!!!

If they can release soem cameos for the new pokemon... heheh ^_^

and btw, for confusion, its debuting for wii, but is compatible for the gamecube... or something like that... but you WILL be able to play on that big box youve grown to love =D

Somebody mentioned this at Pokegym so here it is:

Do you think it is a wrong move to show Samus w/o her suit on?

I don't think so because it's like she's in a bathing suit and the game hasn't been released yet.
 
I think deoxys or jarachi should make it because we have had mew and celebi already.:)
 
Like the Tyranitar idea Godzilla and he could be great character.
Though I think Dragonite would be more suitable since I guess he is more iconic.

Oh and beforwe I show you my idea for Dragonite, me, being a massive Mewtwo user, I have my ideas for the Brawl version.
Think faster and more powerful and the same weight.

Then, here are the changes:

A-Wave his hand in front of him and conjures a continous thunderbolt.
Damage: 6% per second.

A>-Punches forward furiously and a single punch blasts the target with black lightning.
Damage:15%

A^-Points upwards and a Psychic wave blows all targets in the wave into the air
Damage: 6% (long-range) 13% (close-range)

B-Psychic (SPECIAL ATTACK) A chargeable and very powerful special attack that can also reflect projectiles.
Mewtwo spins around into the air, gathers mental energy, then after a short flash, unleashes a huge explosion which catches all targets in the radius, rapidly damages them and then throws them away at a great distance.
Damage: 15%(short-charge) (Mewtwo just rises and releases a smaller wave) 35% (fully charged)

B>-Shadow Ball (SPECIAL ATTACK) Same as last time in SSBM.

BV-Confusion (SPECIAL ATTACK) Same action as last time but instead as long as you hold B, Mewto keeps the force ball in play.

Air^-Mewtwo does a short teleport and then smashes downwards with a star of black fire in his hands (Meteor Attack) 20%

AirV-Mewtwo charges psychic energy in both of his hands, brings it back and then blasts it downwards in a concentrated explosion. (Meteor Attack) 25%

i like the pokeball more because when you released a week pokemon you could hit it and send it flying, or when i was playing with a friend and he would release the unown i would make a pun(a bad pun) "how dare you release the unknown."

any way i would use bowser or mewtwo while he would always use samus and well we would just go crazy with the pokeballs red shells and random punch's but most of the time i would just grab and fling.
 
Incase people dont know, there is a SSBB website. It goes by www.Smashbros.com :p Simply click English and enter, unless you prefer Japanese.

It has a diary entry by the creator of SSBB, also has the main theme song, trailer for the game and new pics and bios of Pit and Metaknight up, which was only updated. The new pictures for both characters really do look great, next to their names it also shows their ingame 'symbol', Metaknight's is the "Kirby star" and Pit has a Bow/Arrow symbol portraying his role in the Kid Icarus franchise.

I'm most interested in Pit for the game, and he'll probably be one of my mains, unless they include a stack of other characters which I like better, but atm, Pit is my favourite.

Meta Knight looks awesome!! It sounds like he will have faster attacks than Marth.... YES!
 
Yeh, Metaknight does sound interesting. From the few seconds of gameplay we saw from the trailer his sword swings are quite fast and he can aerial attack numerous times without falling too fast. IMO, that is very nice. Almost no character has it in SSBM that I can think of atm except for Jiggly, and even Jiggly stuggles to do it successfully sometimes.

I have a feeling they're gonna screw Pit up and make him real light which means he'll be KOed too easily. With his flying and a screenshot which 'appears' to be a recovery move similar to Link, he'll probably be light, but it'll be interesting to play him.
 
Nintendo is not going to give us a video with every character in it, that would spoil some of the surprise. I hope there is another Pokemon besides Piakchu, maybe you can get a thunderstone item and evolve into Raichu for a couple minutes or something. Deoxys would be cool, because you could evolve into differnent forms depending on your situation, like attack form in a tight spot, defense for getting attacked a lot, normal for small fights, and speed for quick getaway. Either Deoxys or Blaziken. You could use a charge jump, blaze kick, fire punch, a flame barrier, all sorts of cool stuff. They just seem like a likely two. Deoxys might be a little hard to control though, because you are juggling attacks and form changes. Maybe instead of Deoxys it could be Jolteon or Vaporeon. They have not released a four-legged charcter yet, and Eevee evolutions are awesome. I wouldn't mind them replacing Pikachu with Jolteon. Charizard wouldn't be bad either.
 
As of yet, this is still highly skeptical. It is only rumoured so far since nothing has been fully confirmed.

The producer of Super Smash Bros. Brawl spoke to a Tokyo gaming radio show recently and revealed three new characters for the series. Bowser Jr, Ridley (from the Metroid Prime series) and Cell-shaded Link. Unfortunately Ice Climbers, G&W and original child Link won’t be in the game.

The good news is that the number of characters in the game should reach forty and it is expected that another fifteen unannounced characters remain.

RIDLEY is coming to this version!:) SWEET but it is sad to see the others go but young link was not that good because he was not that strong. Oh and those who have nintendo power check out the august issue for more info on this.:)
 
eurgh, I dont know if you guys know about solid snake being in it... thats just wrong... and no game&watch!?
