Hi there, ok so I went to my first pre release yesterday and I loved it. Now I want to build a deck and start going to league. I have the Pokemon I want to use already picked out but the trainers and supporters has me through a loop. I play MTG as well and I know there are staples. Are there any specific Items/Supporters I need, or could someone push me in the right direction? Also is there a set ratio to use for the deck, like 20 Pokemon 20 trainers 20 energy type thing?

The Pokemon I want to use are:
. Absol EX (promo)
.M Absol EX (promo)
. Manetric EX
. M Manetric EX
. Shaymin EX

Any suggestions welcome. Thank you so much for the help!

Hey, welcome to the game! :)
There are some staples you would want to pick up. A new season is coming that will be using two different formats: Standard and Expanded. Expanded format (BLW-On) is known to be used for all Regionals and is also used for some League Challenges, depending on your area. Standard format (XY-On) is most likely going to be for the rest of tournaments (Cities, States, Nationals, Worlds).
Staples for Standard: Shauna / Professor Birch's Observations, Switch, Professor Sycamore, VS Seeker, Shaymin EX, Ultra Ball, Trainer's Mail, Muscle Band, Double Colorless Energy (in some decks).
Staples for Expanded: Colress, N, Jirachi EX, Computer Search. (others I am forgetting)
The Pokemon to T/S/S to Energy ratio can be different for decks but it usually is 12-15 Pokemon, 30-35 Trainers, 8-11 Energy.

I hope I helped! If you want to post a deck list here, I can help you out on it. Standard is XY-On sets, and Expanded is Black and White-On sets. (This is assuming you are preparing for the 2016 season.)

Great to see you enjoyed the Prerelease! I really love my prerelease - it's just fun to play some casual games for a competitive head like me :<

I've just looked through your deck list and have noticed a few problems. Firstly, your Pokemon is quite clunky. You should only need like 3-3 Absol, 3-3 Manectric a 2 Shaymin at the most. Some other stuff are clunky as well, such as those large Fan Club, Switch and Professor's Mail lines. Btw, Colorless Energy does not exist. If you mean Double Colorless Energy, you can only play 4 of them in your deck. I'm not sure if you know this, but any Basic Energy (like Dark and Lightning) will supply a Colorless Energy cost too.

In response to Weakness Policy, it could very well be useful as both of your Pokemon are weak to Fighting type, although I'd suggest running a Stadium named Shadow Circle instead. I better tool would perhaps be Muscle Band for your Absol-EX.

Anyways, I don't think I'll bother go through everything at the moment since there are some good guides on PB here, which I suggest you read through and them make changes to your decklist. I'd be happy to help more once you've done that. Here are the links:

Building Casual and Competitive Decks
Beginner's Guide
Staples List (somewhat outdated, i.e. you don't really want 4 Shaymin anymore after a recent ban of a card, named Lysandre's Trump Card).

I have also helped a fellow PBer in this thread (Making an Effective Deck), which would be helpful in determining good trainer lines.

Next, you have loosely made a deck that would belong to the deck variant named a Mega-Manectric variant, meaning you may find this resource helpful.

And finally, I suggest you post your deck in the Deck Garage if you'd like to get wider help on your decklist, as not too many people check this part of the forums Dx.
