BW/BW2 New Types?

Hey everybody I'm new here, and I decided to start off by making a thread that I've been thinking about for a little while. I thought it would be really interesting if they came out with a couple new types for Black and White, like they did for G/S/C. So heres some ideas:

Light:
A light type would be pretty cool, in my opinion.

Strength:
Dark
Ghost

Weakness:
Dark
Psychic

So far that's all I could come up with for strengths and weaknesses. If you think of others let me know. This would pretty much by a 2-way thing with dark, as it would be super effective, yet also weak to it, which could be interesting. Also another counter to ghost.

Blood
A pretty interesting type. It wouldn't be violent of gory like some people might think, just some generic attacks, like blood beam for example. A cool thing would be if for each hit, you healed a little bit. Of course if that were true it would be unfair to have strengths, as you would heal alot, so I don't know.

Also, I thought it would be awesome if they came up with a different "class" of types as well. An example of this could be:

Heal
As an example, underneath the types, this would be in a sort of different section in the pokemon summary. This specific support type is heal, which doesn't affect attacks in any way, however it increases moves classified as "heal". Moves that would hence forth be considered heal would be; Recover, Heal Bell, Softboiled, Aromatherapy. Moves that have consequences, such as roost removing flying types, would be unaffected, unless able to be used by a flying/heal type pokemon for example. Anyway, let's take a blissey. This pokemon could become Normal/Heal. What the Heal type would do is allow these healing moves, to be worth more health, or have an extra effect. For example recover and softboiled would heal more health, or heal bell would remove status as well as heal a little bit. Keep in mind these do not affect combat.

Thanks for reading, and remember these are just speculations, I highly doubt these will happen, however please post your thoughts and feel free too add types you think will come, or any types you would like to see.
 
Hi, I think there should be a vampire type too. There should be more types, but it would be confusing.
 
Light is the only one with a possibility of happening and there's a good chance that even it won't be added.
 
well light type possibility there is no way that they will add blood type

elemental type would be cool but make it limited to say a legendary :)
 
Light- No. Hasn't happened yet, so why start now? Plus why would Light be weak against dark types anways? Dark is strong enough as it is. If it were to be added, it would be added to weaken Dark types. The addition of this would change the metagame as we know it, and fans would be outraged across the world. Still no.

Blood-Twilight fan I presume? Does this even seem remotely possible in a pokemon game? And this conflicts with your heal type as well. This is a definite no!

Heal- I am sure an item would suffice for the same purposes.

So no, no, and no. I don't mind speculation, and I am not hating on your post, but what you have listed really have no need to be added; especially the blood type.
 
Light is a possibility.

I want to see the Shadow Pokemon brought back from XD Gale of Darkness. It won't incorporate with Black and White very well, but perhaps the next set of games?
 
not light topic again :L I do not think new types will be added or should be added. Their good the way they are
 
Blood? Riiiiiiiiite

Heal? Isn't that what we have potions and stuff for, This isn't final fantasy. D:

I do however believe, there should be a few new elements added. Poison really has nothing. :/
 
I don't think there will be any new types. But I have a few types that I want. (Note, I know these won't happen for a million generations.)

Gas
Plastic
Virtual
.....I can't think of any more... lol
 
Hopefully no new types. There are enough, they are ballanced well enough. There is no need at all, don't fix it if it isn't broken.

Every poison type in the game would like a word with you.
 
I mean roughly I don't want every type evanly ballanced with all of the others. I want an element of hardship to the games so I have to work harder with some than others. Generally the types are well balanced in my opinion.

Bug and poison types have an indeffinite short end of the stick. It could be balanced a little better.
 
The way I see it though is bug are there at the start they evolve quickly to give them stat boosts at the begining to help with battles, but quickly fall from teams not being able to cope later on, generally though there are expections.

And with poison generally being used by the bad teams representing bad, having the games so focused on being good doing the right thing, loving everybody. I can see the game developers wanting us to form close bonds with happy Pikachu rather than the slimey Muk.

But like I said befor just my opinion.

The bad guys getting poison types doesn't mean the poison types should literally suck. That RUINS the difficulty you want and that everyone wants.

And there are cool bug types who just suck because they're bug types. Which is lame.
 
I know man, but poison don't suck too much. They just require you to use good strategy. But yeah I see what you mean.

And yeah I'd prefer some stronger bug types they usualy get fobbed off with flying, and weak stats, unfortunatly.
 
I think the types are fine as is, however I would love to have an ability called Oxygen that would retore HP gradually without the use of healing items.:)
