New Umbreon ex and Espeon ex Promos Releasing in Korea, Likely Coming to English in September!

When I'm building a deck, it's nice to have art options other than the lowest rarity standard ex look and a mega-rare mona picasso vinci masterpiece. People run regular old full arts in their decks, sometimes even when it wouldn't be hard for them to obtain the super sparkly version. These cards aren't all that meta but who knows, maybe someday, they still have a long ways to go. And the same logic applies to all full art cards either way.

Yeah they aren't the prettiest looking cards, but when you're playing in a tournament you're not only looking for pretty, you're also looking for functional. Pokemon's full arts are very simple but they stand out a bunch, which is genuinely valuable for some players since it means less time registering what cards you Iono'd into and more time thinking about how to win.

I second this, playing Full art cards is the perfect way to bling your deck without getting so pricy, I used to play miraidon ex with 1 SIR, 1 FA, 1 SR.. playing full arts always looks stunning, when I build a deck I prefer to play full arts over alts or standard arts, it makes me happy to see an opponent amazed by the deck without spending thousands to max

I know everyone hates full arts but having added them to Prismatic would have a least made the pull rates feel less traumatic

Looking forward to seeing a lot of scalpers lose a lot of money on this. Umbreon is one of the 5 Pokémon the average "investor" knows, but let's be real, no actual fan gives a shit about these full arts. That has to be the ugliest Umbreon I've ever seen.

I guess I'm not an actual fan, because I do care about these full arts.

The full art terastallized pokemon have a very similar aesthetic to the previous generations' full art shiny pokemon, such as those introduced in GX Ultra Shiny/Hidden Fates and continued in Shiny Star V/Shining Fates. I collected all of those shiny pokemon, and I've been collecting all of the full art teras as a successor set and also because they're nice in their own right. Get a full page spread of them and they look great.

So all of that's to say if these don't release in Japanese, I'll probably be importing the Korean. But I don't expect them to be valuable. And if actual fans only care about value then yeah they probably won't care about these.
