Please, cut the gatekeeping.
When I'm building a deck, it's nice to have art options other than the lowest rarity standard ex look and a mega-rare mona picasso vinci masterpiece. People run regular old full arts in their decks, sometimes even when it wouldn't be hard for them to obtain the super sparkly version. These cards aren't all that meta but who knows, maybe someday, they still have a long ways to go. And the same logic applies to all full art cards either way.
Yeah they aren't the prettiest looking cards, but when you're playing in a tournament you're not only looking for pretty, you're also looking for functional. Pokemon's full arts are very simple but they stand out a bunch, which is genuinely valuable for some players since it means less time registering what cards you Iono'd into and more time thinking about how to win.
