You said only ball cards. And it can be searched in other ways. That completely proves your statement wrong.

but anyway, Trainer cards are searchable through Skyla. So the whole point is moot.

Skyla won't be out for several months. Also, if any of you had done any real testing before backing up your arguments with theorymon, you'd know that most decks do just fine on getting basics without Elgym/Emolga. The only deck that I could see efficiently using them is Empoleon since it always needs a full bench from turn 2 or 3 onwards. Most decks don't have the deck or bench space to make it worth running extra basic searchers beyond Level Ball, Ultra Ball and Communication.
