i heard powerkeepers is the last set that will use ex/star cards

tell me this isn't so!

besides

whats their idea to keep the game juicy??

stage 3 cards?!?

:/

This still has not been completely confermed. We have no idea what will be in the next set after D/P.

Yep, it's the LAST set before D/P cards.
Also I've got a LV: X Lucario card (got it as a promo...from the Game Guide for the D/P cards...will have scans later)

Here's a pic of it.

oh cmon!

lv X = pokemon ex that can use scramble/DRE/Mr. brineys.... = star poke's pic (the art pops out) = stage 3 pokemon!

Level X is supposed to be the new *. But for all we know they might be replacing the ex with something new as well...

No, Lvl X is the new EX, not the new *

There will be no more Exs after Power Keepers. So far the Lvl. X's are the Ex replacements as far as we know. Whether or not *-Pokemon will appear or not in the D/P series is unconfirmed.

I thought lvl X was the star. If you are right about it being the ex replacement then that seems a bit unfair. There are an average of 3 ex in a box but there is said to be only 1 lvl X per box. So if these lvl X are the new ex and not the * then that means we will be getting the equivalent of 1 ex per box instead of 3.

Level X is kind of the new Ex. However, they might be as strong but not as versatile. Nowadays, you can run 4 Gardevoirs and then up to 4 Gardevoir Ex. Now lets take Dodatoise. You cannot run more as 4 of them combined. So it'd be like 3x Dodatoise and 1 Dodatoise LVX. They'll be harder to get on the field and harder to just tech in. So one can live with them.

I never liked ex pokemon if one gets knocked ou your opponent draw 1/3rd of there prize cards well if your in a prerelease your opponent gets half of there prizes even worse
