RE: No pokemon for Croatia

Cetainium, in the states Pokemon is seen as a little kids game(because of the anime) but does that stop the USA from having more fans than any other country?

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

Shadow Arceus, that's because USA is a big country. There are like, 300 million people. While in Croatia we only have 4 million. Many of them live in villages and don't know what a pokemon is. Of course there are more fans in other countries! There aren't even that much people as pokemon fans in the states! And I not mad because of you. I am mad because of that situation! And yet again, we are out of busters an other pokemon stuff! It is almost Christmas (and I don't if it is Hanukkah already) and we don't have anything! It is the season were people usually buy this things. Why do we have them when no one buys them, but not when the people want to buy them? I don't even know if there's a chance for pokemon in Croatia anymore.:(

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

Yeah I agree Cetanium, although my situation isn't as bad as yours. But what I think is that after Black and White comes out or the period from now to till it comes out, there will many more fans who want to start playing again and stores will start selling more merchandise, just like when Diamond and Pearl and the 4th Gen came out. You see what I done to get a few of my friends back into the TCG was show them the new Primes, Legends and artwork for cards, and they were amazed as they stopped playing before the HGSS sets came out, so the Primes and Legends were new to them. You can try that, but it probably won't work....

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

buy Boosters online? there's like 500 pokemon sale sites..trollntoad.com is a good one. I don't know offhand if they ship to croatia though..least you can do is find out and checkout the site.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

See? Jayj4 got my point. Black and White. It will be like a completely new game. New pokemon, new ways to play, better design... It will convince the next generations to play pokemon and love pokemon. Pokemon will have a great new start.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

I think Black and White is your best bet to try and get some interest in it again. I have a friend who lives in Hungary where there is no OP, so I know how you feel :/.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

I withdraw everything I said. Black and White will ruin everything. I asked some of my friends what they think about B&W, and they say that they would probably stop playing. They say that there is to much pokemon to keep up. They think that the new pokemon look awful and that the new rules are even worse. They say that the 5th generation "killed" the game. My own brother is considering quiting the game. Why? Whyyy!? Ah, this is the end. Not just for Croatia, but for other countries too. Think about it. Sure, maybe in larger countries like Japan and USA won't feel the difference, but the rest of the world will. Many of us, pokemon players, will eventually stop playing. One day, we will lose the reason to play. We will forget about Pikachu, Piplup, Charizard and other pokemon we adored during the years. Sure, call me (edited), but losing pokemon, would mean like losing a part of our family, a part of ourselves. Kids today, don't care about pokemon. After we are gone, there will be no one to carry the pokemon spirit, to star a new beginning. The end is near.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

I'm serious. Why can't you people ever understand me? Pokemon are in danger. You will wake up one day and ask -"Gee, where did the pokemon go?". It will start in smaller countries (like Croatia), and then- BUMM! Pokemon are gone and you miss them! You will ask yourselfs why didn't you listen to me. Cetanium out.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

Hi... Me myself is from Lithuania, and i don't even bother talking 'bout movies in theaters, championships and other stuff we just don't have that...

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

OK, maybe I overreacted, but I was just upset about this situation. It is just so much to handle, seeing how other, bigger countries are so much into pokemon and croatia isn't. I mean, you know about this events with shiny legendary beasts, celebi and zorua? Well, in Croatia it are never going to happen, because we don't have a gamestop store. I am sick and tired of people asking me "Hey, do you play pokemon? *giggle* Could you get me a purple Pikachu?" Purple Pikachu, people. A purple Pikachu! Cetanium out.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

I'll let this stay open. You guys could open a ticket on pokemon.com to see what can be done about improving the amount of product available.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

Wow. I don't really know about this... but you, perhaps, could move into other countries. The reason your region has no Pokemon may be because there are less people there. They might be obliged to move to other countries if your region has too little money/currency/employment. But really, it is a bit unfair how Pokemon ignores smaller countries while large regions like USA, Canada, Japan, and Russia gets all the business. Pokemon should understand that if they ignore the smaller countries, the larger regions will eventually lose Pokemon, and when they continue ignoring the smaller regions, they will have no money. Pokemon has to give it to small countries eventually, right?

But I've gotten bored of Pokemon myself. I think I've wasted my money. >.<

You gotta be kidding me, right.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

> Pokemon is dying in country.
> Leaves country.

Even I wouldn't do that. XD

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

...Do you have any idea how much hassle and cost is involved to move to another country?

A more reasonable thing to do is to just stay in the country and try to push for more OP support and stuff. Europe's a really large...gray area? (I don't think that's the right word to use)...as far as OP goes, but if enough fans rally for attention, they'll listen.

Heck, Riskbreakers managed to do that for the Phillippines...successfully. He now has OP in his own country.

RE: No pokemon for Croatia

hmm thats so sad :/ no pokemon....omg thats so terrible!!! Your not the only one, I remember seeing on the news a long long time ago that in certain middle eastern countries pokemon is banned because it apparently promotes "gambling" to the children -_- It also mentioned that you cant bring any pokemon merchandise into Saudi Arabia or you will be seized and it will be confiscated. THAT STINKS!!!!! I wish I could share pokemon with you.

***Dont move to another country because of pokemon!!!! You should appreciate your home land and its awesome cultures! Plus omg moving to another country is super duper expensive and stressful! My distant mom is moving to austria for better education and honestly she cant afford it by herself-she is kinda high in the dental field and cant afford it. She is STILL waiting for her papers to move there and its been like a year!!! You can always buy pokemon merch worldwide online cheap from ebay! Does croatia have bullet trains or any kind of transportation? Those things are everywhere in europe and they can take you across countries fast! If you do, you could simply visit another country that has pokemon like for a day! You would have to convert your currency though :/

What? Even THAT is stupid for us... Heck, I played Pokemon for a long time and I still dont want to go throw my money away, and probably never will. Oh well, we will never change. :/

As for me, Pokemon is...kind of a joke in here. Most kids/teens/anything just play, um, you know. I don't have anything against that, I just can't stand people that say: "LaWl ur a n00b pokAYMon ish for little kiddiez and IT SuckS durrp".
I even think the TCG isn't even known in here. And since it isn't known in here, there aren't even any leagues, and I ALWAYS have wanted to take part in one. T-T At least I have got some cards from my travels in the US. At least the anime is still shown in here, but only in Saturdays. The only thing that goes well in here are the games. And in stores they used to sell Pokemon toys, but they unluckily got replaced with...

So yeah, it really isn't that popuar in Mexico
