NorCal Fall Battle Roads 2012

Concord had 61 players. I was only expecting like half of that, and we would have had to cap at 64 due to lack of extra tables. You were definitely spot on about it being crowded.

If there weren't 2 other Battle Roads happening at the same time Concord will be overloaded. Cities in Concord is going to be massive.

Judging by the amount of people who went to Battle Roads on Saturday I expect Elk Grove to have a large crowd.

NorCal players should petition Play! Pokemon to have a Battle Roads/Cities in San Mateo County.

64? Dang, that's a lot.

Anyway i am probably going to play my Epic Rogue for Santa Clara. Or Emboar. Or Eels.
I need to buy cards today and have no idea what i'm playing.

By the way, Bakersfield has a population of 300,000 and gets two battle roads. The San Jose/Santa Clara area has one million people in it and gets one. Makes no sense to me.

That is why NorCal players should open a support ticket over at pokemon.com and make a suggestion for another venue in San Mateo County. It can be a Marathon cities.

Elk Grove had about 44 players (guessing, but they had 22 tables numbered).

Have to skip Hollister for a family thing but will be at Santa Clara on Sunday, which I'm guessing will also be really crowded!

Darkrai decks came on top in the Masters division in all four Battle Roads in the NorCal circuit last weekend. Three were Darkrai/Hydreigon and the fourth was a Darkrai EX variant created by Stefan (we'll unofficially call his deck "West Coast Darkrai"). Stefan also piloted his "West Coast Darkrai" to 2nd place in Elk Grove.

In Juniors, Ray Eels took two Battle Roads and Garchomp/Altaria took the other two (one albeit by default).

I do not have any info on Seniors so if anyone knows the result kindly post it.

You just show up except if its the Morgan Hills one (no date has been posted on this one). Morgan Hills requires pre-reg because of limited space.

UPDATE: I just spoke with the Morgan Hill organizer and expect it to be held during the last weekend (Saturday) of the Fall Battle Roads calendar.

Yup, Morgan Hill is on Saturday, 9/29, at 9am. On the pokemon events page, it says to pre-register, but I can't find where to do that?

Which ones did you attend/will you attend?

I have attended Cameron Park and will be attending Modesto on the 15th

Morgan Hill unfortunately won't be a premiere Battle Roads event but will push through as a shop tournament with a $5 entrance fee.

Just noticed this morning that the Morgan Hill tournament is no longer listed on pokemon events.

To be honest since it doesnt give any CP I will skip Morgan Hill. I guess Modesto will be our last Battle Roads (I know there's still Roseville but Im not going there). See you guys in Modesto.

You know me, I'm just going to have fun (not like I expect to win, LOL!) :) Timmy changed his deck, so I want him to have as much experience with it as possible before regionals. We'll be at Modesto and Roseville, plus other non-BR tournaments.
