The European Internationals didn't have a play point requirement, so I assume that this one doesn't have one either.

That was how I read the pokemon announcements also, only a points requirement for worlds

I just realized the Worlds is happening right before the solar eclipse. Somewhat unfortunate timing for me, given I intend to go see the later. Always next year to go see Worlds, I suppose. ^^;

I kind of wish they hadn't made the US International just US Nats by a different name. I would have preffered they have it earlier in the year. Having one of the other internationals during the summer also would have been nice to allow more people to travel. I am glad they're doing it in Indy though.
