This is a thread where you can discus your Nuzlocke attempts and tell how hard it actually is! For those who don't know what it is, there are a few steps to get started:
1.Start a new file on any Pokemon game.
2. If any of your Pokemon faint, they are considered dead and have to be released
3. You can only catch the first Pokemon that you encounter. If it gets away, too bad.
4. No catching shinies/legendaries!
5. Nickname all Pokemon to show emotional bonds.
I'll be showing how it works with FireRed.
Current Team
Bulbasaur Lv. 9 M
Rattata Lv. 5 M
Caterpie Lv. 4 F
Dead
Pidgey(Critical hit by Rattata's Tackle)

4. No catching shinies/legendaries! Actually, the shinies part isn't true, it only applies to if you have/haven't caught the first Pokemon you found on the route

I beat Brock and lost another team member. Pikachu will be missed!
Team
Bulbasaur Lv. 15 M
Butterfree Lv. 11 F
Rattata(Ratty) Lv. 11 M
Pidgey II Lv. 7 F
Dead
Pidgey I by Rattata
Pikachu by Rattata
Rattatas are dangerous with critical hits!

I am doing a Platinum Nuzlocke and writing about it. I'm currently training for Eterna. The first death was Mason the Geodude.

I'm going through Emerald and I've lost several valuable team members due to crits and other BS, but I'm pulling through, I have 5 badges and an overleveled Swampert and decently leveled Electrode and Tentacruel.

I nuzlocked through Yellow, got all the way to Champion Gary, and lost to his third pokemon. Right now I'm nuzlocking through Heartgold, but I haven't updated that in a while.

Finished Crystal today (but I caught a Shiny Geodude I found, because seriously, passing a Shiny up? You're kidding, right?) with only two casualties overall (Quilava and Psyduck).

Kind of weird when a Raticate survives a whole Nuzlocke but he just refused to die ._.

I'm doing a Platinum Nuzlocke with some added rules:

RULES

1. Any fainted Pokemon must me released (Regular Nuzlocke rule)
2. You only have a limit of 3 visits to each Pokemon center. (Placing you mon in the PC then putting it back in your party is cheating, you can only access your box once after every gym battle)
3. You MUST set your options to "SET" rather than "SHIFT"
4. You only have one encounter per area (Regular Nuzlocke rule)
5. No repels
6. No using fly (I will trash the TM as soon as I get it)
7. No items in-battle
8. No trading

Anyways, I am now grieving the death of Marigold the Roselia. She lost her life to Gligar that used a crit Pursuit when I switched her out. *sniff*

Here's my current team.

Archer the Monferno
Level: 23

Roider the Machop
Level: 21

Wrenner the Staravia
Level: 22

Creed the Crobat
Level: 23

Red the Bidoof
Level: 2

Boater the Buizel

I recently made it to Hearthome and I'm training for the murder, Fatinia. (Or however you spell her name)

In box:

Gksdiwde the Abra (Lol idk about the name)
Level: 4

Useless the Wurmple
