So I was thinking that you could use Octillery to snipe their bench, switching to Samurrot since, he's pretty bulky and can take some damage. What do you guys think? I'm pretty new to the game, and was looking at cards. Thought I'd see what you guys think.

Next time, use our own scans. We have a great resource here to use. I've edited them in.

Samurott is generally better on his own or with donphan to counter magnezone. Octillery is nice, but not needed. How would you switch from samurott back to octillery the next turn?

If you were going for that strategy you would need to play 2-2 Dodrio UD or else you won't have a reliable way to retreat Samurott each turn. But honestly you would be better off attacking with Samurott the whole time. 30 Damage just isn't good enough, even with a somewhat decent attack.

That is true, I didn't think of how to retreat Samurott, Guess i was trying to hard to find a combo. Gotta start using that common sense. Thanks for the input.

What would be a fun tech to include with Octillery is Gothitelle, although now you're talking about cramming a lot of Pokemon in one deck.

Just go with Octillery/Goth/Dodrio if we're talking about snipe/lock. Max Potions would be great for healing up the Goths, and you don't have to worry about Reshi/Zerkom going for OHKO's with PP.

Ferrothorn would be a better idea, deals more damage and has more of a disruptive effect. But I suppose Octillery is easier to setup.

Wow I got majorly ninja'ed with that first post lol. But For an energy line I think something like 4 rainbow and 4 water, since the damage isn't important since Octillery won't really be active much, and you can attack with Gothitelle if you reaaaally need to.

I wouldn't attack with Gothitelle, I would just stick to the basic strategy. I don't see this going too many places, though– 30 damage, even with snipe, isn't a lot, and your opponent will most likely keep hammering away at your Gothitelle. You run out of Max Potions at some point, and then you're done.

If you did play Gothitelle, I think Copycat would be a given. You'd probably need a starter (Cleffa? Manaphy?) to get your Stage 2 and 2 Stage 1s set up (assuming you run Dodrio) in time. Remember, TyRam has a tough setup, and that only takes a Stage 2, Stage 1, and a Basic.
