Same here! I was like what the crap...I even took all the ladies' questionnaires in one sitting and when I tried to set up a survey, I couldn't even find the one that the guy gave me. :( Only the surveys the lady gave me :-/ I DID put one survey up though and I got ONE answer. Haha! It was funny.

Maybe try waiting til night then try a Dusk Ball? I dunno. They work funny sometimes. I tried catching some guy today and it broke out of my Great Ball after it rocked the 3rd time. I then threw a Poke Ball right after and I caught it. So maybe you just gotta mix it up sometimes. ;)

Also, Simisage doesn't learn any moves, as someone mentioned. I would wait til at least 22 for Seed Bomb. I'll probably wait til 43 after he learns Crunch. We'll see though. I figure there's enough other good Grass Pokemon that I don't need to evolve him right away. :)

Anyway, I don't mean to tell you how to play your game. :)

i am an amazing trainer lol. i beat 3/4 of the E4 with 65-67. i cant believe it i never used full restores during battle and never revived anyone...wow...i beat 5/6 of the grimsleys poke but he got an un expected critical hit and beat my last poke with liepard (ya i know its his worst guy but he had like 1 hp left and i knew i could survive 1 more hit but boom...crit hit :( ) so ya...i havnt made it to the champion yet but I GOT REALLY CLOSE. i faced cynthia too and...i only beat 2 of her poke lol BUT everyone is lvl 70 now and i got wifi back and victini...who sucks...
 
I waited to evolve my Pansage until it learns Crunch. It's really not the best Grass type though IMO. Pretty frail although super fast.

maybe use uhhh...whimsicott? idk i use serperior and he is pretty...uh i guess he is kind of a tank he randomly takes strong attacks well. outrage he stays in the green but ember...he folds like a house of cards

I picked up a Timer Ball today so maybe I'll give that a shot.

I know for certain that I can make the battle drag on for a good while.
 
^i just got him down to 1 damage (false swipe :p) then put him to sleep and got him on my first ultra ball
 
I surprised myself today. Not only did I catch Kyurem first try,
I walked into a villa in Undella, and randomly heard Cynthia's theme, and then she walks up and challenges me to a fight. I certainly wasn't expecting it, but said yes for some stupid reason. I almost gave up hope when I saw she was in the mid 70's, but I managed to get all the way to Garchomp with only lower 50's.

Most definitely. I killed him the first time. I just kept puttin him to sleep with Munna. Hehe

It sucks having to do these quotes manually...
 
I'm currently chasing after Tornadus right now. I've tried throwing a few Ultra Balls at him, but without Mean Look it would probably be better to just use my Master Ball...

And I just had an opportunity to teach Mean Look to my Cofagrigus not too long ago. Shoulda went ahead with it, most of his moves are also TMs anyway...

EDIT: Just tried fighting Cynthia. I don't know how you did it, Heracles, my guys are all mid to upper 50's, and I got ripped apart.
 
^i think its all who you start with. if you start with a non powerful person then you will get a pretty bad start but if you start off with a heavy hitter you will blow through spiritomb and be set up (at least i did with a double SD on my haxorus) to take down more but...she will beat you eventually but at least you put up a good fight. its all about who you send out i guess

ok i got everyone to 70...time to beat the E4 and the champ...hopefully
 
Oh I can beat Spiritomb no problem using my Scrafty, but then she sends out Braviary and wipes the floor with me...I've found that sending out Cofagrigus and using Will-O-Wisp works pretty well, since it also lowers attack...but whatever. I'm doing some more training before I challenge her again.
 
i'm having trouble with the spiritomb as well.

@catutie, my pokemon are lv. 64-68, so when i train them a bit i'll let you know and we can have that battle.
 
Use Volcarona from Relic Castle on the Spiritomb. Even untrained 2 Bug Buzzes will knock out Spiritomb.

Speaking of Volcaronas, there is a "Lazy Way" to beat the post game (Cynthia, E4 2nd time, etc.) by using only a Volcarona and an Altaria (on the Marriland walkthrough).
 
wooooo i just beat the E4 the second time and i have to give thanks to haxorus...for taking out 4/6 of the champs poke. i couldnt believe it but outrage/dragon scale combo is unbeatable lol a lvl 73 haxorus beat 4/6 of the champs poke... i still cant believe it. the only one i had a problem with was volcorona and i used chandelure. i hit with inferno and he was in the red and then he healed and i ran out of inferno trying to hit him again and he just quiver danced over and over and over till his stats wouldnt go any higher and he finally beat chandelure so i sent in haxorus to see if i could go 5/6 and he just hyper beamed him (haxorus was in the low yellow so ya) and then since he had to recharge i just sent in excadrill and then drill run FTW. i couldnt believe it

@scheezy.....were gonna battle? i dont know if i would be that good...but ya...just PM me if you want to

You don't need to change seasons, you just need to investigate the small pond in Great Chasm.
 
wait the little thing of water in the cave? other than that i have no clue. all i find is that stupid thing to jump over in the big open maze type area and i have no clue how to get over it so i figured that if it was winter the snow would pile up on top of it and i could just walk over it...

maybe a little later scheezy cause im planning on doing some team changing (chandelure dies to easy...any suggestions on a new ghost or fire type....well actually i already have a reshiram so new ghost type? im thinking the giant golem guy)
