I like that Unova has a modern and industrial feel to it, mainly due to the fact that with the other regions they weren't so much, and could be considered the same thing designed in a number of different ways., and it was a nice change.

Everyone, there are only 4 more days until Pokemon Black and White are released. Here is Day 4's question:

What do you think of the deeper storyline with Team Plasma and N? (I'm aware many of you don't know exactly how the story goes, but of what you know, what do you like/dislike?)

Alright, I LOVE the storyline. Pokemon storylines have obviously never been extremely intricate (although the Emerald storyline was VERY good), and this does change that fact. I don't want to leave any spoilers here, so the most I'll say is that this storyline will surprise and shock you. I am completely excited that Game Freak is going in this direction, and I can't wait to see how the sequel handles the story.

This was a very short response, but I'd still love to hear your opinions. Please leave your thoughts here!

from what i know it should be an interesting story. i hope for a team that is very evil and will do anything to get there goal done (sorry to sound like a broken record but...team rocket was best. they killed. KILLED THINGS. did galactic do that...no. did aqua and magma do that no...dont let me down plasma). im glad that the story line is deeper. team rocket may have been the best team but ya...team aqua and magma were the best story (the rivalry was great and getting stuck inbetween them was great).

I love that storyline! I like long storylines because:

1. It makes the game longer
2. It makes you want to play MORE

and, for any pokemon game:

I'm not sure if this is true, but I hope it gives you more opportunities to train your pokemon and get them stronger by beating Team Plasma a lot. I hope this game isn't like Platinum and blocks you from going to a bunch of routes good for training x.x

^i hate the guy that just stands there and says you cant go into sunnyshore. i thought that was lazy. they could have just made it so you needed rock climb. i got the rom of the game i put the cheat to walk through walls and i walked through the guy and then got the ability to use waterfall got the ability to use surf and then when to the E4 with only 2 badges lol

Really, I like the story line this time. I will have to admit, I LOVE Sinnoh, I will give Unova a chance. I guess that's what trading is for....

^ i dont eather. it was more of an exp experiment of hmmm would this work or would it just glitch up...it worked and i walked through all the E4 peoples doors to get to cynthia without battleing lol

and that is annoying...we never got the azure flute. why?

I think the deeper story line is a better outline for the reason evil dudes, do what they do.

catutie: Platinum also blocks you from going to Solaceon Town and Pastoria City until you defeat Fantina. She's the third gym leader in that game. You can't go anywhere to train near Hearthome except the route to the left. Everywhere else is blocked :(

I'm very interested to see what the full storyline is for these games. I have not played them in Japanese or looked too much into the games to avoid spoilers, but I hope I am pleasantly surprised! :)

Btw, back on topic people.

WOOHOO!!! Got my game today :D. And Shining Raikou, the storyline is VERY interesting. It goes more into depth of the bad guy than any other game.

In short, no, Black City and White Forest did not influence my decision.... Zekrom did. However, that's not what we're talking about.

Personally, I've always been into the rural aspect of Pokemon games... feeling like you're in civilization when you're in a town, but feeling in the middle of nowhere when you're, well.... in the middle of nowhere. I'm very happy that I chose White Version as I love White Forest. I like the forest feel in places like Pattern Bush in Leaf Green and Ilex Forest in Silver. I'm very happy to see that my version will have another big forest. I just feel that Black City would make the game feel a little TOO industrial for me, but that may or may not be true, as I don't have both games.

My decision was decieded on Reshirams cool factor :p

I'm definetely getting Black, but I would rather have the white forest, just because you can catch pokemon there and in Black City, there are only trainers to battle

I am going with white, but I would prefer Black City for the training. Can anyone explain how to get trainers to appear in Black City? White forest is okay, but i'm not too into the whole "catching-then-raising-just-for-it's-evolution's-pokedex-entry" thing, but I'm glad I can catch pokemon that would otherwise be rare in my other games. Mainly I'm concerned about training my team to a higher level. My friend with Black will be WAY ahead of my.

I decided on white and reserved it b4 I found out about those... I might actually have preferred black city, but they're both useful.

I had picked White as soon as they were announced. My friend and I always get opposite games, and she said she wanted Black, so I picked White. I would have preferred Black City for training, but I'm happy with my game and hope that there is some type of VS Seeker or something like that to rebattle trainers in White instead of grinding in the wild.

Personally, Black City influenced which game I'm getting. Of course, I love the huge trees in White Forest and the nice houses etc., but I just absolutely love the industrial styled-theme. Also, it's great training and money for me and my pokes ^.^ . Finally, I love how it seems to be night time in Black City. With the neon lights on the buildings, it kind of reminds me of how active Virgina Beach is at night (all of the music, bright lights, etc. I love this by the way). Even though I was probably going to get Black anyway, Black City helped influence my choice.

P.S. I'm so stoked for Black [and White] and I think that this is a great thread ^.^ .

Why do the mascots influence people's choices about the games?!?!?!Anyway I chose White partly because of White Forest.The other reason is that my brother wanted Black,and we always get opposite games.I like that you can catch many Pokemon in White Forest that are uncommon.
