BW/BW2 Official Black and White Discussion Thread

Wait...you mean to tell me that the Super Singles line has an end? It ends at 49, it doesn't keep going?

Oh I dont mean it like that, I got to 49, its counted as completed at 49 along with super doubles for the trainer card to rank up, but it goes on further. Im just aiming to get my trainer card to 4 stars :)

I officially give up on trying to catch Basculin.

On another note, the underground section of the Dreamyard has some trainers with Pokemon at a level of 60-65. Working my way through there now with the following team:

Emboar (Lvl 54)
Sawk (Lvl 54)
Reshiram (Lvl 52)
Pansage (Lvl 33) - figured I'd get him to learn Crunch then evolve him
Gurdurr (Lvl 30) - there looks to be a part where I will need to use Strength
Egg :p

Caught a Musharna (the one waiting under the Dreamyard) as well as a few older gen Pokemon such as Radicate, Ariados, and Venemoth.

Just made it through Victory Road. How hard is the E4?

Well I tried to beat them with my level 60 Samurott and my other weaker Pokemon, but, my Samurott and almost all of them fainted, during each battle, but the Medicines like Revives and Full restore/Max Potion, helped me to defeat the elite 4 in one go.

I'm wondering the same thing, pokemon99. I am standing just outside of the E4 right now, waiting to go in and get started.

I was nervous too, but when you beat the first one, and you've healed your Pokemon, just think, that was easy, then do that until you get to the 4th one and you'll be so confident, I'm sure you'll do well. That's what I did, and trust me, you should have a lot of money, I do, I could buy like 199 revives in one go, If I could, go around, face trainers, equip your main/strong Pokemon with an amulet coin, and then try and go back to the league, if you are feeling nervous. Then past the league, no more battles and there will be a place you can heal your Pokemon.

Just jumped right back into White. Yesterday I started breeding Deinos that know Dark Pulse with a Modest Nature. I got one with decent IVs, so I'm going to start EV training soon...

The guy who used Fighting was hard for me.
At the time 4 of my pokemon were weak to fighting.
Now it's just 3.

My Pokemon were lvl 50-51 when I went through the E4.

Only used one revive, a few super potions, and one hyper potion.

Emboar
Sawk
Druddigon
Zebstrika
Unfezant
Carracosta

I found marshall as the hardest.
Caitlin dies to volocarona even with no levelinig up. Basically quiver dance 6 times so that you now have plus 6 special attack, special defense and speed. Musharna wont switch out and can do nothing but hypnotize (then use awakening while it fails a dream eater). After that it goes first and sweeps everything.

Shauntal and grimsley were a bit harder, but not really much of a challenge. Marshall just seemed stonger and more in tune with the pokemon i would use (like rocksliding braviary or going all out twice with a kamikaze sawk)
