Can't go wrong with Haunter! Props to Charizard & Quagsire for being pretty cool though. There are more that I like too but these three are the ones I like the most.
 
It's so hard! I like so much Pokémon. Here are my favourites (in random order):

Umbreon
Chimecho
Metagross
Blaziken
Typhlosion
Empeleon
Haunter
Pachirisu
Noctowl
Crobat
Mew
Articuno
Gallade
Pidgeot
Lapras
Weaville

And I'm probably forgetting some too... If I would have to cut them down to 5, I would most probably say: Chimecho, Pachirisu, Crobat, Umbreon and Noctowl.
 
You know what they say, when in doubt, catch a Scyther.

And if that doesn't work, get a Scizor!!!!!

(In case you were wondering, my two faves are Scyther and Scizor)

im a new guy to pokebeach but my favorite pokemon is simply darkrai becauz of his brains and power and if i had to pick i would go with pokemon granite version :)

My top 1 favorite of all time:

Rayquaza the sky high pokemon. A chinese mythological flying dragon-based that flies around the Aurora, and can summon Meteors. What more could you ask for?

all other legendary dragons mostly giratina and Zekrom

Typhlosion the typhoon explosion

My new favorite Pokemon is Arcanine. He very beautiful and majestic, but also very powerful.
