Copa America:

Extremely disappointed overall. Mexico didn't even get a point because they used SUB 22. Argentina Brazil and Chile all got knocked out in the round of 8... (Uruguay,Paraguay and Venezuela knocked them out). Teams like Peru and Venezuela moved in to the top four when they barely got any points in the 2008-2009 South American world cup qualifiers...

Japan win Woman's World Cup:

I highly underestimated Japan during the whole thing. The fact they beat USA is a shocker but they played great overall. Solo could've won the game for the United States but she never dived out during the Penalty shootout! The fact Brazil almost beat the US is terrible because.
1. Brazil shouldn't have taken the penalty again (Ref decided to re-do)
2. Brazil's second goal was offside.

As far as Copa America: I was dissapointed in the squad that Brazil had fielded. I felt as though they had no traditional players in important positions like their striker and center mids. Argentina was playing a questionable squad that entire tournament except one game. Aguero/Higuain/Messi/Di Maria in like a 4 prong attack would have been the best offence of the tournament. I was however very happy with Uruguay. Suarez and Forlan is love.

For the Women's World Cup: As soon as I realized that Sawa was godly and that she picked Germany apart, Japan was my favorite to win. I actually think that Brazil was a better team than the USA but absolutely did not show it in that game. So to me the fact that the USA almost lost to that weak of a Brazil squad is odd to me.

I was rooting for USA during the women's world cup; unfortunately, they lost a tough match to Japan. Congrats to Japan though

@Sleuth: The USA-Japan match was a difficult one for sure. Nice to see an MLS representative in here.

This is a big buy for Barcelona, especially with their funds so limited. I also question what this means to Barcelona buying Cesc Fabregas.

Manchester United:
Nani needs to go. Hes been doing not as great in my opinion and I like the fact Valencia is on there (being one of the few good Ecuador soccer players)
But Valenica aint so great either. Hes committed tons of fouls (especially in the Champions League Finals) Still say Nani.

Barcelona:
I remember a couple of days ago they reported they had enough for the both of them. But if they end up not having enough definitely Sanchez. Thats just my opinion considering hes my favorite player right now.

I watched the soccer game of manchester city v la galaxy today. Thought it was a great game with some nice saves by the goalies in the penalty shoot out and during the game.
balotelli should have had that goal, he totally screwed up tho. He may be a good soccer player, but he needs to clean up his attitude. It was stupidly childish when he threw that water bottle on the ground.

Magee's goal in the second half was really nice. I went perfectly over the goalies head and into the goal =)
The goal that the manchester's goalie had for the last penalty kick was also amazing!
congrats to manchester city on the nice win
