"Oh-no, where's my *insert item here*"

I lost my backpack after coming back from a friend's house, so I chased his car up the street, looking like an idiot. When I returned home, still missing my backpack, I found it in the kitchen. DX
 
I was at my friends house 30 minutes ago and he couldn't find his DS and he kept accusing his awesome sister of hiding it and I said Zac I bet you left it in your room and he said i didn't leave it in my room and he kept whining so i went in his room and the Ds was the first thing i saw and i said it's right here you idiot! ( It was funnier than how it appears on here^) :D

I lost my deck right before regionals. It ended up being in in my deckbox whereit was supposed to be XD.

the most funniest thing for me was at 2007 worlds.

i was on my way back to my hotel room, but a person stopped by and had a chat with me.
talking about something...i think aussie culture.
when i on way back to my room, i thought i have lost the card key.
so i have to go like check the lift, some floors (like 3 or 4 floors) and 15 mins later, i realized its in my far back pocket, instead of the front ones i normally use.

Believe it or not, when I was 5 years-old, I wore glasses. Classic, round, Harry Potter glasses.

I woke up to get ready for school one day, but I couldn't find my glasses. I looked everywhere. Under my bed, in the closet where I kept "my pet monsters", bookshelf, anywhere. Saddened by my fruitless efforts, I grabbed a teddy bear and rolled down the stair cased. (Ow) (I had a very steep staircase and no coordination whatsoever.) When my back hit the front door that was at the bottom step in a cartoon manner, I heard a crack. My glasses were hooked to the back of my t-shirt.

(Epilogue for the glasses: I ended up just duct taping the broken bridge together, I didn't want my parents to fuss over getting a new pair.)

The story stuck out to me.
 
I keep "losing" my pens and I'd search the whole room for it and then find out that I was holding it all the while.
 
I lost my shoes once. They were right in plain sight in the closet. <_<

I looked in the closet 3 times. Then my dad tells me to go look again and they're there. I think he has teleportation powers. :F
 
At one point, my sister was looking literally everywhere for her GBA. She had put it in a sock at one point, so we suggested that it could be in a sock in her sock drawer. She assured us that it wasn't.

A few days later, we found it-in her sock drawer. From now on, whenever someone loses something, we suggest it's in their sock drawer. XD
 
This is a very funny story!

Once while me and my family were on vacation I lost my pokemon game (diamond) somewhere so we stopped and looked around the car we were driving and couldn't find it but two minutes later after we gave up the hotel we stayed at called us and told us they had my game. So we had to drive an hour to get it.
 
Okay, I have 3.

When I was 7 I had a really awesome Zapdos hat, but I accidently left it on a ferris wheel at Hersey Park. Never saw it again...

One time, I left a pair of shoes at my friends house. I go to retrieve them, and he informs me that they have been eaten by his dog...

My friend lost his cell phone during a loop on a roller coaster. He thought for sure it was broken and lost, yet a month later, it come to him in the mail, in perfect working condition.
 
Every day I lose something and the next year, I find it. I couldn't find a policeman toy until I moved house! And my Hypno GE (my 2nd best card) got lost and it took me years to find it. And I left my Hippopotas DP at my friends house and my friend also lost one of his Hippopotas DP on the same day! Usually, the Pokemon cards are stolen rather than missing though.
 
I was looking for my money, and i was going to a pre release so i needed it, i was looking every where for it, so i looked under a few places, then in my pants, then in my wallet, then after about 5 mins of looking, i looked in my wallet again, i was looking so hard, my eyes passed over the 3 twenty dollar bills in my pocket.
 
One time, i had cat who aslept on the sofa. He curled into a ball. I put one round pillow on top of him. Later on the day, I forgot where cat was. I sat down on sofa. >_< I found cat... loll
 
Once I thought I lost my DS at the Wii release. So I go searching for it for months. Finally I buy a used DS, and then I find it behind in my chair....fail on my part.
 
I was at the most exciting part of my (take note:) LIBRARY book, and I lost it somehow, I just found this morning in my closet while I was looking for a pair of shoes (another funny losing stuff story, but I tell that later...) It was just laying thier, on the floor.
 
i thought i lost my school id and if i didn't have i would of been suspended, but then at the last second found it under my shirt
