This deck wasn't easy to build, credit goes to JaySamuel of PokeBeach for the deck idea. Even though Trainer Lock is dominant in the current metagame I wanted to take a risk and give Omastar a go especially since it's also seeing play in LostGar as well.

The strategy of the deck is basically to de-evolve your Opponent's Pokemon with Jirachi's Time Hollow attack then retreat with the help of Unown Q to bring out Umbreon UD and use Moonlight Fang to stall out against Pokemon that have any Poke-Powers or Bodies or use Quick Blow to damage them after devolving them.

Galactic HQ helps add damage counters to my Opponent's Pokemon that evolve after I Time Hollowed them with Jirachi granted I have enough energies attached to make it sufficient. Omastar AR is in the deck for Time Spiral which with 1 Double Colorless Energy can shuffle a Stage 1 or 2 Pokemon my Opponent controls back into their deck, setting them off even more.

I could use the Majestic Dawn version of Omastar since it's a Poke-Power instead of an attack but knowing it's going to rotate out soon I declined to run it in this deck. Any comments, suggestions, and advice are greatly appreciated.

Think I should take the DCE's out for Cyclone Energies to help counter against Spiritomb AR?

If you don't mind my saying so you're going about this deck a bit wrong.

RUN JUDGE and Omastar MD. Omastar MD does something similar to Time Spiral, only it doesn't count as your attack for the turn, and you get to devolve multiple Pokemon, not just one. Idea is to Primal Swirl their main d00ds, then drop a Judge to make sure said cards go far, far away, so they can't re-evolve next turn. Judge is a much better card in this deck than Jirachi.

With Jirachi, you spread damage till their d00ds would be knocked out, then send out Jirachi to de-volve them, thus taking prize cards. Very, very clunky. With Obamasnow, you Snow Play till you die, or until the time is right, then drop Omastar, use Primal Swirl, and then Judge the cards back to their deck. Even if you don't get multiple prizes you'll most likely frustrate your opponent into scooping! It's a horrible fate to inflict upon any player!

Yeah I had that same problem with Victreebel/Vileplume, they get frustrated to the point of scooping which is one of the reasons why I tore that deck apart. Plus it auto loses against Dialga G Lv. X very badly and decks like Gyarados are running it as a tech to counter against it.

Maybe instead of Judge or Jirachi UL I can run Aerodactyl GL for Primal Breath since the attack itself prevents them from evolving their Active Pokemon on their next turn plus it has free retreat and I can slap an Unown Q onto Omastar AR while still using Time Spiral in conjunction with that.

Don't get me wrong I like the Majestic Dawn Omastar for it's Poke-Power but I want to run a deck that lasts for 2 seasons instead of one, Abomasnow SF is great too but yeah I'm trying to get this deck to be as up to date as possible though it's not easy.

How could you copy my Devolving Lock deck like that?! LOL We just had the same idea. What league do you go to? ~JS

I gave you credit for the deck idea didn't I? I didn't mean to offend you. :(

I'm going through a period of deck builders block and I was trying to find a deck that has the potential to work so I thought it was interesting on how your deck worked and all, tweaked it up to make it a little different from your build, but for some reason it doesn't seem to work for me right now.

I'm most likely going to rebuild my Blastoise UL deck anyway seeing as the main reason I tore that deck apart was because of Umbreon UD and Moonlight Fang, but now I have a counter against it with Primeape SV and Expert Belt so I'm good.

Nah. Don't run Aerodactyl GL. It doesn't cover enough "bases" so to speak. Just keeping their active from evolving isn't usually enough. They swap or something like that, and then evolve normally.

Omastar MD is the way to go for this deck, however I can completely understand wanting to invest in a deck that has some staying power. Sort of out of creative ideas on this deck, but I definately wouldn't use Aerodactyl, as there are just too many ways around it, and collect for 2 for free is only ok at best.
