'Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Special Pack - M Diancie-EX' Releasing in November [9/1]

That ABCDEFGHIJKL attack on M Diancie-EX is going to be killer... 
It seems unlikely based on current trend (though not impossible as Flashfire had three EX's but only because Japan handled the Charizards differently than we did) that we'd receive three megas in Phantom Forces. Again it's not impossible. We could also receive it as some sort of promo thing ourselves in late November/early December. And they could hold it off until the next set in February, regardless of whether it's XY or ORAS.
As it is we know four of them now; Gengar EX, Manectric EX, Aegislash EX, and Diagla EX. Technically that's all the set 'needs' to have if our past sets are any indication, though XY did have six EX's instead of four.

But the set itself only has Gengar and Manectric so far as the EX, because Aegislash and Dialga are part of the Hyper Metal Chain Deck, which is a separate, but simultaneous release from Phantom Gate in Japan. That being said, there are still at least 2 EXs we don't know of yet, because every lone set in Japan has had at least 4 EXs not including Megas. And Diancie is also in our Booster Pack artwork, so we're most probably getting Diancie as an EX in Phantom Forces. The real question is: when and how we'll get M-Diancie?

We get back to the point that we already have two Megas in Phantom Force. Unless they want to break the non M. Charizard EX trend, we won't get M. Diancie EX in Phantom Force though I would love to be wrong about that.

I guess until Japan reveals the other two EX's in that set we'll never know. But I have my doubts that Phantom Force will give us seven EX Pokemon and three M. EX Pokemon.

Someone on our Facebook pointed out that M Diancie EX's name is actually Gardevoir. Maybe we're going to get a Fairy-type Gardy soon.
Well when I think of holding fans over until ORAS, I don't think of Mega Diancie (a 6th gen Pokemon), I think of Treecko / Torchic / Mudkip / Kyogre / Groudon (like with what our Treasure Tin is doing). But I guess it's true Mega Diancie is so far exclusive to ORAS. Edited out.

Oh, wow. It does! And here I was too focused on its wonderful ABCDEFGHIJKL attack to notice. A while ago, I was thinking that when Gardevoir EX and M Gardevoir EX came out, they'd make them Fairy type. Can't wait to find out!
And on the subject of how many EX's and Megas are included in sets and Japanese decks... As much as including more ultra rares in sets would disappoint me as a collector (because there are already a ton in every single set) and as a player (more options means lower chances of getting what you're looking for), Pokemon really needs to start including more Megas in their sets.
They're introducing more Megas faster than they're putting them in sets. Including this M Diancie EX, there will be 10 Mega Evolution cards by November. So far, they've revealed 10 new Mega Evolutions for ORAS on top of the 30 that were in X and Y (including Latios and Latias); I'm willing to bet there are still more Megas introduced in ORAS that haven't been revealed yet.
At this rate, we're at 10 Megas a year in the TCG, which means in another 3 years, we'll have all the Megas. ...But then that's not including any more Megas introduced in ORAS. And within 3 years, I would assume a Z Version (or X/Y 2) would come, and that could also include more new Megas. It's like a slow endless cycle. lol
Mega Diancie's ABCDEFGHIJKL attack will function similarly to Cedric Juniper, but instead of guessing the height of the Pokemon, you have to guess how it's spelled! If the opponent guesses incorrectly, the defending Pokemon is knocked out.

Mega Diancie's attack is ABCDEFGHIJKL, If you change that to numbers, it is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12. If you find the average of those numbers you get 6.5. 6.5 is the square root of 42.25. 42.25 is half of 84.5. 84.5 rounds up to 85. The Japanese EX Team Rocket Returns set had 85 cards in it. EX Team Rocket Returns had 3 Pokemon Gold Stars in it. Pokemon Gold Stars are shiny. Shiny Pokemon are Secret Rares in BW. The Secret Rares in XY are gold variants of M- Pokemon. Therefore, since Team Rocket returns had 3 Shiny Pokemon, Phantom Forces will have 3 secret rares. One of these Secret Rares will be M- Diancie EX. Therefore, M- Diancie EX will be in the set.
