Ruling Once more about Megas

Hi guys!

Almost everybody is now asking something about Mega evolutions and I'm no exception
Due to this thread and especially because of reply of Brave Vesperia I'd like to ask, if it is really required for Mega evoluiton to evolve from a basic EX?

E.g.: Mega Blastoise EX evolves from Blastoise ex

I.e.: Is Blastoise EX (written with majuskule) something else then Blastoise ex (written with minuskule)?

Yes, mega blastoise EX must evolve from the basic blastoise EX. It cannot evolve from the older blastoise ex. Even though it's just uppercase vs lowercase letters, it's enough to change the pokémon's name and make it a different 'mon
