After testing the new format, one card has proven itself to be insanely broken and problematic: Wellspring Mask Ogerpon ex. Wellspring Ogerpon is basically a consistent turn 2 Radiant Greninja’s Moonlight Shuriken in a format with no Manaphy. There is no real defense against this monster. If it gets to go first, it will mercilessly tear apart the your setup before the game really begins. Since you likely won’t have a response ready, it can spam its attack thanks to Crispin and Sparkling...

Honestly It needs some sort of consistency boost with getting so many basics into play. Definitely good, might actually kick some of the slow setup builds like dpult out of the meta if this becomes big. Though after Shaymin comes around, I don't think this will ever see too much play, since It didn't when Manaphy was in rotation.

Also If you want the decklist, just go to Limitless TCG or sometimes TCGPlayer Infinite, there will be a bunch of decklists there.

I saw a single Wellspring card in ATL. My clear cut-counter was Iron Thorns for weakness. It's a good idea, but it seems more like a meme because it's actually easy to play around the deck

The tera engine is the most consistent engine to have in the current format. I don't know why you ever think it needs a consistency boost. It's only issue is there is no late game draw engine so Iono really makes it suffer, but that isn't a consistency issue.

Also this deck was the defacto deck to build against if you wanted to compete, and now look at atlanta results. Every deck has a way to deal with water ogerpon (dragpult has bravery charms and lux capes, gholdengo can just tm evo and use rocky helmet against pikachu) or that it straight beats it (tank terapagos).

They just let anyone post an article on here dont they? Was this post paid for by big tera box? Lol in all seriousness tho I think with how the meta is, it really comes down to 3-4 turbo decks and dominate anything else that needs to really set up. If you aren't set up by turn 2 the prize race is basically decided because if you aren't playing dengo, dark zard, pult or raging bolt you are really at a disadvantage. From a players standpoint tera box is really something that only farms lower hp mons, once pult and goldengo get rolling there is no stopping the high hp mons, especially single shooting things, the power output just isn't there
