RE: Greninja Suspect Test
They're not banning protean greninja.. they don't cripple a pokemon unless the ability is overall broken on it's own by anything (even bidoof can be broken with moody despite how terrible it is, moody was banned)
Like others have said with speed boost, there are many pokemon with the ability that are obviously not broken.. just blaziken was, why cripple the entire metagame in not just one tier but all of them to nerf one pokemon? Bye blaziken.
Protean is in a similar boat because kecleon also gets protean which is not broken at all.. he's pretty bad in general even with the ability so nothing necessarly broken there, it's just greninja abusing it. So the only solution is cya greninja.
Also to past post last page claiming tentacruel and empoleon are counters..

Hardly even checks. A counter is something that can switch in and threaten a pokemon 100% of the time and shut down all it's sets.. greninja has the coverage to run and stop those pokemon from shutting it down entirely making those pokemon checks to any greninja sets not running those moves.
1) Viability in ubers means nothing if something is overcentralizing and rediculous in OU.. it's like saying leave volcarona in UU because it'll suck and be BL in OU.
2) Greninja is B- rank in ubers, he is far from unviable there.
Anyway, yeah I'm all for the ban. Limiting teambuilding is a huge problem with him.. you always have to be carrying a back up plan on your team for all greninja sets which is annoying. I don't know if he is particularly overcentralizing because there are no pokemon necessarly losing usage or seeing usage because of him (bar porygon2) but I do think some pokemon like mega metagross might get a little out of hand with one of few solid answers to them leaving. Less revenge killers do let up on the pressure for other sweepers such as gallade and altaria.. and I suppose scarf keldeo and latios will still be a thing cause of beedrill, sceptile, and scarf lando.. but otherwise it's just one of those pokemon like mawile where it's not necessarly meta defining just annoying, difficult, sees near perfect usage, and just too pressuring in practice.
