Scary, just as I noticed this thread and clicked it to read, the dude on the radio on the station I am listening to just said "BIN LADEN DEAD, US HAS BODY" was like kwtfrandom then saw this thread.

That's how they spell it "correctly" when converting it from Arabic to English..Although O is more popular because of pronunciation.
Also..YAY. I just happened to flip to msnbc by accident and saw this..then switched to CNN and honestly I'm expecting some kind of uber reaction from al-queda..which would totally be bad.

After 10 years the people who died on September 11th can finally rest in peace. This news is amazing, America has finally brought Osama bin Laden to justice but rather killing him instead? I guess it wouldn't have hurt to put him under a court of law like we did with Saddam Hussein back in the mid 2000's.
Still those who fought in Iraq and Afghanistan fighting against al-qaeda, their souls have been avenged including one of my cousins who died in Iraq due to a roadside bomb planted by one of Bin Laden's lackeys.
Even though things aren't doing so well in Iraq and Afghanistan I can safely say that with the death of Osama bin Laden, America and the rest of the world has achieved a victory of sorts. Though back at
the end of World War II when Hitler committed suicide we sort of achieved a victory I guess.

I was going to say this later, but I really don't see why we are celebrating the fact that we killed someone. It's rather disturbing. As bad as he was and as many people that he may have hurt, we are celebrating the fact that we killed someone (after the fact that we've lost and killed many more in the process). That really isn't much different than when some extremist celebrates about killing an American.

the difference is we would have PREFERRED him alive to stand trial..extremists only want us DEAD.
