pachirisu GE

Starters aren't used anymore, due to a speedy meta. Its only other use is as a SP-Counter, but generally there are better things out there, such as Mankey SV, Promocroak, Relcanth SV, etc.

So, no, I wouldn't say that it is "good".

hmmm I see. what about trade-wise?? do you think I'd be able to get a good trade for it?

thanks

Unless it's a collector of some kind, most people are no longer interested in Pachirisu GE. Pachi sells on Ebay for about 5$ USD.

It's lost more of it's practicallity. It can be useful, but the low HP kind of hurts it.

It does have the advantage of being one of the few techs around who isn't bad to start with, so it does have that selling point.

I think it's decent, a good tech against SP's that, like Lou said, isn't bad to start with. It's also an easily searchable basic that requires no special energy (like relicanth/mankey/etc) and has reasonable HP for a non-SP basic.

So I'd say good.

Pachi is good, it's a decent starter and can do well against things with tools attached, Expert Belt, Unown G, Energy Gain anyone?

Pachirisu is an amazing card, though Chatot GE has pretty much taken role as "that one usable tech starter" given the free retreat, 0 energy cost and ability to get rid of bad starts through Power Lock. Pachirisu is by far then next best Pokemon to use though. Chatot/Pachi/Absol are like the only Pokemon even worth considering for a starter.

As a whole, Pachi is an amazing card, escpially against Sp decks reliant on Energy Gain. But there just isn't any room for it in most decks.

Pachirisu is pretty good against Palkia Lock. 80 + removal of E-Gain and getting rid of all E-Gains in their hand... It's really good. However, if they get Azelf MT out with the other Pixies, it takes two energies, which kind of sucks. And in a lot of set-up decks, I'd rather be using Chatot's Mimic attack to set up rather than hold the Palkia Lock at bay for just a little while... Although Pachi is still great.
