Could this possibly be our Battle Roads promo? Seems very, very interesting and would see some play. What are your opinions on this card?
 
Its not our battle roads promo. Europe slready started BRs and they got victory cups.
 
I would love to see us get this card regardless, even though I'm probably aware that we won't. I can see this having a lot of use...even despite the existence of Tool Scrapper.
 
I hope we get this... maybe a blister promo in the dragon sets? Maybe it could be in one of the next two sets?
I can see an epic drawpower engine with this, battle city and cheren. now we just need a pokemon that does more damage for each card in your hand,

Waaaaaay better. Two cards insted of one? Yes please, and it can be played unlike Victory Cup.

tool scrapper confirmed for 'pokemon catcher' levels of necessity

it's will be interesting to see how this card fits into decks like terrakion that use EXP share
 
They have never once given us exclusive Japanese tournament promos. They aren't going start now. Its pretty bad anyways. The pokemon has to be active which means it either has to be on the bench and sent up after something is KOd, or it has to be on the active and survive the next turn. Its pretty bad, wspecially with tool scapper to make it that much worse.

Hey, it could happen, what with all the Eviolite/Exp Share/Rescue Scarf running around in the future. I certainly don't doubt it.

Well yes, because once they give them to us, they are in no way exclusive anymore. We've gotten plenty of cards that were considered trophies in Japan (Espeon and Umbreon Prime, Espeon and Umbreon *, there's more I can't think of I bet).
 
The stars were promos for players, and being given out in POP packs were a great way to make them equal distribution. None of your examples were tournament promos(Miracle Diamond, Mysterious Pearl, PCL Card Lab, etc.)
 
Palace Belt is honestly pretty bad. Tool Scrapper and Pokemon Catcher pretty much ruin its effectiveness. Also, most decks can't afford the Tool spot anyway.

The best way to use it would probably be to bring it up after a KO.
 
In that case, Catcher up the Pokemon with Palace Belt and get a kill. And Tool Scrapper + better Tools are still pretty big factors.
 
i still think it would be a nice battle road prize
good or bad, anything is better than a prettier pokeball

Only difference the badge instead of saying Autumn 2011, says Spring 2012. Everything else is the same.
