Welcome one and all to the fourth installment of Parroting, where I came up with all my questions beforehand so running out of ideas isn't a problem...
What is the goal of Parroting?
Parroting is a fairly simple and easy game. Your goal is just to answer questions given to you by the host (me) and try to match them to the answers of other people without talking to them. Just pick the answer that you think the most people will answer with! There are no incorrect answers, so you can quite literally answer with anything you want.
How do I win?
Points are determined by how many people parroted an answer. So if four different people answer a question the same way, they would each get four points. If eleven people answer a question the same way, they would each get eleven points, and so on. There is also a way to get additional bonus points. I'll answer each question myself before posting them, and if someone guesses my answer, they'll get 1.5x their total points for that particular question, rounded up. So, for example, if only one person parrots my answer they'll get two points, whereas if five people all parrot my answer, they'll get eight points for that question instead.
Can I get an example?
Of course! Let's say I ask the question, "what is the best fire type Pokemon?". Five people answer with "Cinderace", therefor they each gain five points. Three other people answer with "Charmander", so they would each get three points, except that I also answered "Charmander", so they actually each get five points. Six other people might answer with "McDonald's" because remember, you can answer literally anyway you want; there is no right or wrong answer.
Is there anything else I should know?
Why yes, there is. There will be five rounds which will each last four days (or until everyone submits their answers), and which will contain eleven questions each. Make sure to send your responses in a private message with me, and do not post them in the thread. Remember, you are not allowed to discuss answers with anyone else playing the game.
