Using "really" and "common" is exaggerating. I can't say I know a single person besides you that has a pet rat. That said, I'm not saying you shouldn't have one and I wasn't necessarily making fun of you, I just thought it was interesting :).

I said nothing about eating a fish. I simply implied that unlike cats, being around a fish won’t make me sneeze or make my eyes itch. So I’m cool with fish over cats.

I have the knowledge about all them birds. I could easily be the best parrot if I tried. But this bird will proudly give the win away to someone else.

Yeah Starbucks are really quite rare here - Costa and Nero are defo more common. I was also going to go for cake on that question but changed at the last minute xD
