Partner for Ursaring Prime

Hey all. Getting together my excess T/S/S(so they probably won't be tier 1 T/S/S...for example, PETM instead of Bebe's, Dual Ball instead of Collector, etc) and trying to make a random deck out of it. I've chosen Ursaring as my main damage dealer, and include such power adders as Expert Belt, PlusPower, and Black Belt. I'm wondering what would be a good partner for Ursaring. I'm thinking maybe Slowking HGSS just to mess up their topdecks whilst I get set up myself.

My main issue is that Ursaring doesn't have a whole heck of a lot of HP, especially once Beserk kicks in, and I run Cynthia's Feelings strictly because I don't think Ursaring will last very long.

For some reason, I can't seem to put down the idea of pairing Ursaring with Meganium Prime. I know they have next to no synergy, but I've always thought the idea of energy transfer was a very nice luxury to have indeed. Anyways, main idea of the deck is to just power through stuff whilst messing with my opponents hand( a la judge) and topdecks(if i decide to include Slowking HGSS).

**Update: Have confirmed the addiage of Slowking HGSS. Now I'm looking for more of a consistent strategy to maximize Ursaring/Slowking's efficiency. Also, a way to keep Ursaring alive would be very helpful. Only thing i can think of ATM is Defender, which in reality is probably a pretty poor choice.**

You need something to put only 1 damage on it, perhaps typhlosion prime, or donphan

@MudkipV3: Already have a Typhlosion deck, so not going to use it. I need to obtain some Rainbow energy for the deck. I have 1, need 3 more. Also, Teddiursa can use Take Down for the needed damage counter. The Donphan idea is pretty good since I have 3 Donphan Primes just laying around, and was also looking to have a partner that was Fighting since I have a surplus of fighting energy.

A way to activate Ursaring's body and to get energy movement would be to run Magnezone SF#6 and the Lv.x

It gives you energy acceleration too which can help set up your next Ursaring if one gets knocked out

My buddy has a Magnezone deck with Gyro Ball and I don't wanna use any of the Pokemon he uses. Like I said i'm trying to think of a Dissruption/Heavy Hitter sort of deck, maybe utilizing Slowking to mess the opponents' topdecks up. Maybe Chatot G or something like that as well.

Yeah, Rainbow Energy would be best. You could Sableye start and Impersonate a Collector, grab Teddiursa. Next turn, use Luxury Ball and fetch Ursaring Prime. Attach Unown Q to Sableye. And once Ursaring has two energy, retreat, bring up Ursaring and attach Rainbow Energy for 10 damage and to +60 for each attack. This would never be a T1 donk, unless you go second in the start and you have an amazing start. Also, to give you a better chance for a donk, run 2 or 3 Celebi Prime for an extra energy attachment to Ursaring. ~JS

Meh, I think the Donphan works best. The entire point is to mess up your oppoent(unless they play something like Bill or Mom's Kindness) while charging up Ursaring. But Celbi can always fit, probably two though.

Because Rainbow energy/Take Down is much easier. Plus Unown P won't be legal much longer.
@JaySamuel: How in the world would Celebi Prime help to donk? You do know Celebi Prime has to be active for Forest Breath to work, right? Otherwise i'd be a good idea.
@Yoshidude: Thank you for understanding the whole basis of my deck.....to hit hard, cause much death, and dissrupt in the process. Also have to keep a constant line of Ursaring going since it's pretty fragile and won't last that long.

maybe run a healer tech or healing trainers (Nidoqueen, Blissey, Moo Moo, Life herb) to try and keep Yogi bear alive. Itd probably make it slower though.

25
4-4 Ursaring
4 Sableye
2-2 Slowking
2-2 Blissey
1-1-1 NidoQueen
2 Uxie

20
3 Collector
3 Bebe
3 Judge
3 Belt
1 Twin
3 Rare Candy
3 Warp Point
1 Palmer

15
4 DCE
4 Rainbow
2 Rescue
5 Dark

Only have 1 Nidoqueen, and it's in CurseGar. I prefer MooMoo Milk over Life Herb because I get 2 chances to heal, not 1. Life Herb is just too flippy, even for a league deck, IMO.

Aside from the Exeggutor idea, I would just like to point out that Dialga G X ruins the entire discussion we've been..discussing. It might be a good idea to pair Ursaring Prime up w/ something that covers Dialga's weakness(GETS RID OF IT). With it in play, you better know your strategy with Berserk isn't working. Then it would be wise to pick out some techs to cover its petty HP and get Berserk to work.

Eh, not too worried. This will be a deck that I play strictly with my friends, and none of them run DGX. For the purposes of this discussion, pretend DGX doesn't even exist.
Aside from that, if i do make this deck into anything more than a fun deck, it'll be after rotation, and DGX won't even be legal then.
