Thanks a bunch. I'm still a bit of a newb to vector art myself, actually--I only recently graduated from my first round of college, and that's where most of my experience with Illustrator lies. I just got into doing art like this over the summer, so I'm still in the learning stages at this point. :)

It's a thought. I've already done one for Squirtle, and I've gotten requests for a Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil in the past that I have yet to act on...not only that, I have a sneaking suspicion that somebody out there wants a Mudkip from me.

Yep. I try not to use fonts at all, and if I do, it's usually for something small (for Swablu, I used a font for the numbers at the bottom).

Interesting stylisation on the Scizor. Lines are pretty thick on the edges, good bumper sticker material.

Altaria is done! Well, it's finally online, anyways. Our internet has been on the fritz for the past couple weeks, so I haven't been able to upload anything recently...but we're back up and going now!

Anyway here's something else I've been working on: a type design inspired by a Daft Punk song, "Steam Machine". Pretty simple, but I felt like doing something quick that was different. I'll probably tackle some more Daft Punk songs down the line to see what I can come up with :D

Have you ever tried using your art for a tshirt, or like one of those iron-on design thingys?

Fantastic job on the Altaria! Also, when/if you can ever get around to it, would you be able to do a Doryuuzu or a Zuruzukin?
