Hello. I created this fakedex because I thought the Pokemon should be created. I created it before I knew anything about Gen 5, so none of the ideas are copied. They are all my own original ideas, and I will post more every few days. All of the final stages but 2 have been finished, I just haven't gotten to most of the prevos. Feel free to comment :D

If this region were to be Generation 6, it would be the last generation, so the Pokedex comes to a whopping 200 new Pokemon. The region is based off of Egypt, so many Pokemon will be based off of Egyptian ideas, but that might only be obvious for some when I add their Pokedex entries. Also, I made one of each type Dragon. I also made a cell-based Pokemon! :D

I originally was not going to add in Toxsick, but I wanted to have at least one of every type of legendary to finish off the last generation, so Toxsick showed up.

Your lineart is very good! I'd recommend taking scans and coloring with photoshop or something.

Something I find helps to give people a better grasp of your ideas with the fakedex concept is to prewrite some sort of information about your creatures to not make them seem as generic as they otherwise might be. However, speaking from experience in writing things up for my own Fakedex (which accompanies my fanfic Feral Twilight), it really takes a lot of spare time and dedication to do that.

Anyhow, your designs aren't bad, but like Juliacoolo said, it'd help to have colored pictures if possible.
 
I actually have plans to color and scan all of the Pokemon. I have begun to post the Pokedexes and information about the Pokemon, but thanks for the critiques.
 
Basically what I meant was including stuff on the lines of this...

Fakemon Name
  • Type:
  • Name's Origin:
  • Species Description (or Classification):
  • Height:
  • Weight:
  • Gender Ratio:
  • Gender Differences and/or Geographic Differences (if any):
  • Egg Group:
  • Ability:
  • Base Stats:
  • Pokedex Entry (Game 1):
  • Pokedex Entry (Game 2):
  • Pokedex Entry (Game 3, if you choose to do a fictional third one):
  • Locations (where you can capture or at least see the Pokemon, and which games they appear in):
  • Extra trivia (this could include any little extra tidbits you want people to know):

Moveset
  • level-Move-type (if it doesn't already exist in the games): Description of move (if also needed)

This is just the template I've used for mine, but it's not a requirement to have at all, just it give better insight and let's you elaborate on your ideas more.
 
I will do that. It should be fun. Do you know how to make a wikia? That would make it worlds easier and save space.
 
They look pretty good, patrick! The majority look like they could realistically be Pokémon, so color me impressed. :) Following what Apollo and Juliacoolio said, adding some color and descriptions could really benefit your monsters. As you said, a Wikia could be a great option.

I'm also curious as to what #1-5 are, as your starters begin at #6.
 
Most likely, 1-3 will be posted in the last set, as they are special. #4 and 5 are précis of the grass starter. :)

Due to working with the Pokemon Ice team, I am writing articles about dark and psychic types first.
 
These are very good sprites my favorite starter is torrentia just a suggestion but you should make your own online pokemon game
 
Thanks :D I don't know how to program a game, but some of my Pokemon are in Pokemon Ice, and I am helping make that.
 
how long do you think it will be until pokemon ice gets done because i saw that also and it looks great also will torrentia be there
 
I don't think Torrentia will be there sadly, but Pokemon Ice still has a while to go, so it might still be in it. We are under programming up to a few towns though :)
 
Ok and I was reading it and saw something that said demo will that be available to everyone or just people making the game
 
It will be for everyone after we test for glitches. I am going to add five new Pokemon to the main post and in a new post tomorrow.
