Paul ( Ash's new rival)

I think Paul is... weird.

Possibly in an upcoming episode a Magikarp will use Splash on Ash and Ash won't be able to do anything, so Paul comes in a Crisp Magikarp with Flame Wheel. And then because Paul thinks he's Pimp and all he'll through a Poke Ball.

Then, Paul will get a Magikarp, and it's be shlike so ckool!

I suppose Paul is really determined to bring up a strong team and stuff but I cant see why he cant keep some of his weaker pokemon as companions. I know that sounds lame, but if Paul is constantly pushing his pokemon to be the best they may grow to resent him. I think that one day his attitude could be his downfall.
 
Paul is the dumbest name for a rival, it should be something cool like Adam. Paul sounds like a truck driver.

lol but hes right in my game I named him ein. Not the best rival name but its better then paul.
 
Paul's a really great rival because he's totally opposite of Ash.

I hope he's shows up again soon in the Japanese version. I can't wait to see the two of them battle it out again.
 
Paul's names is ok but Gary was the best rival ever to challenge Ash and as I said before Gary grew to like Ash over time and so far paul stinks.:)
 
Just you watch, Paul and Ash are going to be stuck in some sort of deadly predicament, and they'll work together to get out of it and they'll be best friends...
 
Uh-uh, and Paul's going to capture some cruddy Pokemon and ACTUALLY keep, that's the odds they'll be friends. There is just too big a gap between them. They hated each other from the start and will until the day they die
 
So far he does have good Pokemon but it is odd that he releases them after battling like with Starley for example.:)
 
also it is funny how ash's pikachu can't beat paul's elekid but can pulverise the hoen league lol (-:
 
Paul is ok but Ash seriously could do better with his Pokemon. Wiyhout Misty to help him he is not doing to good.:)
 
I think he will show up During the middle to the end of D/P . He should be showing up sometime soon and last we saw he had an Electwire so Ash should battle with him soon.:)
 
Ash is getting too foolish, he has to think on his own, which he rarely does. Paul does release his Pokemon but he checks the moves first, then releases the scrap, I still think Paul's better than Gary, I can't strand Gary
 
hey i like gary! i think paul has a big ego thinking hes better than everyone else and the way he talks to ash i know gary was like that too but then he changed
 
I agree with May and Manaphy Gary still thinks Ash is an O.K. trainer but Paul cna totally see through Ash's over-confident grin. He knows deep down that Ash is a stinky trainer, no afense (yes I know I can't spell).
 
paul is so mean he's like ash but a evil version and i bet he'll end up tlking to ash and tell him that's there is so story for how he treats ash just wait and see it'll happen
