Pikachu Promo #101 Releasing in TPCi Territories, Drawn by Illustration Contest Winner!

[Water Pokémon Master]

A new Pikachu promo (SVP #101) has been uploaded to Pokemon TCG Live. This means it will release in TPCi territories sometime soon. The card will feature the “Play! Pokemon” stamp, so its release should be tied to organized play.

The card is illustrated by Jiro Sasumo, the winner of the 2020 Pokemon Illustration Contest. The artwork shows the reverse angle of his Charizard that won the contest. (Though it didn’t originally reveal who Charizard was battling.)

The Pikachu promo was first released in several Asian countries last month to commemorate Worlds 2023. It then released in English with a “Asia Championships 2023” stamp to commemorate that event in participating...

"TPCi territories" is definitely a fun way of putting it. I, for one, welcome our TPCi overlords. No, really, I welcome them, please come over here too and start caring about more than five countries.
