Pikachu - 60 hp and fighting weakness isn’t ideal. Strafe ohko u and only need 2 intel pings for medicham to take another turn. Ability is reverse of what the good ability is. U still have to commit the energy to retreat. Now, if you will attack with an evolution that’s acceptable. But then the ability gets nulligied. Right bow we don’t have active based abilities. Like stellar wish. And if you will attack with the guy, just stay in the active. Still, is a great bonus. Attack is to high cost to use before evolving. Grade: 2/5 fragile pre evolution with an ability that can be helpfull 10% of your games for mobility.
Raichu - 120 hp is low. 1 rc is higher than I expect from raichu. First attack is semi decent. It is usefull if u don’t like the current boardstate or just need to by a turn, it’s like bursting burn. Second attack is weird. 220 is great at a 1 prize mon. The issues are the following. It’s vstar, not V so u can’t go for tempo on supporting sprites and pre evos, and you are not reaching OHKOs on vstars, 250 with band is to short, especially when we are losing zig and leon. Second issue is that the maintence is to big. 3 energies is high. Yes, dte is a thing but going down to 200 dmg means u will never ohko stuff. And u are not a V so u don’t get acces to trinity nova and melony. So flaafy is the only option. But that is too clunky. 3rd problem ties into the prior issue, u will get ohkoed so u need to spam this and can’t just comftrobly sit in the active and chill like arceus. This is why this is not gonna be an ”efficent attacker. Grade 1/5 they tried to reach the 200+ numbers but in the completly worst way
