im confused i cant get both Pokemon added to my game?

Honestly I don't even see the value in this event besides getting the mega stone.

Heracross and heracronite is exclusive to Y
Pinsir and Pinsirite are exclusive to X
Also, event collectors get more Pokemon, so it's just exciting that N.A. Is getting another XY event

Since when were non-legendary version exclusive Pokemon given events. If this was a regular thing with other version exclusives I wouldn't think much about it, but this is literally a worthless wifi event for a random pair of version exclusives. Like GF really needs to give us (not just Japan) a good event, especially since Japan is being blessed with Shiny Jirachi at the moment.

They've given out random event pokemon at worlds each year. IE gen IV
And the tons of times they have given Pikachu holding Light Balls. Is this because you get an exclusive item? (In light ball) maybe! Which is why we are also getting the mega stones

Would've made more sense if they were attached to the respective Pokemon instead of being a separate event of their own. Still, the wifi event is kind of a disappointing. Nothing can change that. Also events like this kinda sting those that bought both versions of the game (myself included).

True I do agree with you that for the most part it's pointless
As yes it's lame
And yes it doesn't make much sense why we basically Have to do two events
For some people though, it just gives them a way to get that 'mon

Also, since it was released in a Nat Geo magazine, it makes sense since they chose bug pokemon
It wouldn't make much sense if we got random Jirachis and Darkrais

Oh ok. Why did they not just add the stones to the Pokemon? That does not make sense. They messed up these events XD. Makes no sense.

My guess is that they're trying to get you to go to Gamestop so they can pressure you into pre-ordering ORAS.

It is a marketing thing as I here sme people saying. They are trying to get you there to pre order the new Pokemon games as well. Why pre order them when you can download them via the eshop XD.

Yeah I heard GameStop doing the pre-order thing for the last give-away.
That was of course the three shiny Legends (Palkia, Dialga, Giratina).

When of course you really didn't even need to go in the store since the signal was pretty strong.

BTW when was the last time Toys R Us had a giveaway?
Was it Manaphy?

Walmart had those codes for Scizor/Garchomp in certain packaging.

BTW there's a new event out NOW, so make sure to grab your Pokeball Vivillon online.

Guys you can still get these events online too. You don't need to go anywhere to get the stones. Just trade for them online or have someone clone your in game stones. I think you can get the Pinsirite in Y but can't remember if you can get the Haracrossrite in Y but I know you cannot get either stone in X version for sure. I have all the X stones.
