So I don't often see small UK tournament reports so I decided to write about the pre-release I'm attending right now at Mad for Miniatures in St Austell, Cornwall.
Opened my six packs after much hype and it paid off -
First pack pulled Gold Rare Candy,
Third pack pulled Jirachi EX regular,
Fifth pack pulled Master Ball,
And the sixth pack topped it off with a Salamence holo!
Here's my list:

Round 1 - vs. Chris w/ Ursaring, Duosion, Kangaskhan
Started Bagon, donked by Kang.
Second game tried to stall with Chatot confusion to get Salamence going, but it didnt go well and I eventually lost.

Round 2 - vs. Dan w/ Haxorus, Virizion EX, Drifblim
First game lucky Kang flips, second game Druddigon was a bro. Used Iris to OHKO his Haxorus and it was game from there, but a really good game nonetheless.

Round 3 - vs. Kira w/ Masquerain, Machop, others
I donked for first game with Suicune.
She donked for second game with Masquerain.
I started Kang for third game. Three very quick games in which I didn't get to see a lot of her deck.
2-1
Round 4 - vs. Mara w/ Kangaskhan, Reuniclus, Golett
Spent both games setting up Salamence and Gaia Crushing to win. Good games though, Reuniclus proved a problem for my Kang.
3-1
Round 5 - vs. Max w/ Virizion EX, Kangaskhan, Abomasnow
First game I had an energy drought somehow and lost pretty badly. His Kang was flipping 40-60 and when I finally got my own Kang going it flipped for 80! Shame it was killed next turn for his win.
He won the second game the same way, after I started Shelmet and tried to stall, but he got Virizion EX out early and I fell apart.

Gave my last two packs to my girlfriend who couldn't be there, unfortunately her rares were Volcarona and non holo Machamp. Silver Bangle though.
All in all a great day, traded my way up to a playset of Bangles, 3 Sigilyphs and my 2-2 Masquerain line. Also Salamence was a bro.
