Strategy

having as many Deoxys on the bench as possible you can increase Crobat's attack damage to 80, while Virbank Gym causes the poison damage between turns to reach a staggering 60. Even the biggest EX will fall in a turn or two to that onslaught.

While Mew Ex won't get the boost from Deoxys EX, it can still use the Crobat attack and hit the high poison damage.

Plasma energy is in this deck so that Deoxys can use his attack to full effect if Crobat is taking time to set up..

Snorlax is the only real dead card really, it's only there to soak up early damage while Zubat and Golbat aren't strong enough to take hits

Shadow Triad is golden here, allowing me to recycle Plasma Balls, Lasers and Colress, while Skyla helps to tutor out the candy and gym that Crobat likes.

Hi BlasterDarkRen,

Nice deck. Although status denial hurts the theme is sound and I like it. Consider Girantina instead of Mew and Snorlax. He can be searched out hit hard same time. With the Laser / Virbank combo and a bench filled with Deoxy Ex he can hit for 170 damage total for three energies. In addition, stuff that checks for knock outs is not activated since the status effect will knock them out between turns.

More draw and search trainers would also be fine.

I've made this deck before, both with Deoxys EX as support and Giratina as a backup attacker.

Both decks struggle in the current meta due to Keldeo EX and Virizion EX.

They arent worth building because they are EXTREMELY difficult to get everything going. For Crobat to hit for a lot, you have to be up against decks that has no Virizion EX because if they have it any they emerald slash first, you are done (Especially since you have to evolve into Crobat (with a Zubat that can be potentially 1HKO by a lot of stuff in the meta [[Thundurus EX, Rayquaza, etc]])

With Giratina, you have to setup it up along with setting up a Crobat and you can only hex them if they stay in poisoned which usually isnt the case because removing poison is easy and a high priority.

Deoxys EX variant is the better variant instead of Giratina where you CAN hit for 180 IF YOU HAVE:
1 Crobat (With Psychic + DCE or 2 Plasma E)
4 Deoxys EX benched
1 Silver Bangle
1 Virbank City Gym in play
Defending Pokemon is not protected by Virizion EX

All those cards required is almost 1/3 of your deck taking in to consideration all the supporters and items you go through to setup.

In theory its a good deck, but not worth the build, trust me, Ive played tested it and analyzed this deck thoroughly to TRY to make it work.

I'll try replacing Snorlax with Giratina, tbf though I only play TCGO and this thing is 75% win rate even in expert. That's good enough for me for now lol

thanks for the feedback though
