My friend bought a box from me before I could start doing my vids but he opened all the packs from his box so I was able to write down what he got and thus have to open fewer packs myself. So, this video series might be less 'educational' than my Supreme Victors vids and be more quick to the bunch busting nothing but Xs in the following videos.

I now want to go to my cardshop and get me some Xs... lol. I thought that this whole thing was bologna, I guess I should have watched the vids first! I though it was awesome when you even said which X you were going to get. ;]
 
Wow, that's amazing. I at one time bought 2 boxes of rising rivals (I would assume) from the same case, I opened one and still have the other unopened. I wish I would've kept them in the same order now lol
 
I got the vids done for the 1st case but now my computer doesn't want to read my memory card. If I can't get it working I'll have to borrow my dad's card reader tomorrow so I can upload the rest of them....

Alright, got the other vids onto my computer...uploading now!

do you ever make money off of these boxes by finding the code? whether it be by finding the lv.x packs opening those and then sell a certain amounst of the x's.
or do you complete some sets (revs and non revs) and sell that?

amisheskimoninja---Other than an occasional tin or some other form of promo package, I don't buy anything from retail. In 2000 when MLB Showdown was introduced there was 1 holo per 3 packs and every third pack was a holo (maybe it was just 1 particular set, don't remember for sure) but I remember going to the local card shop, buying 3 packs, opening them and finding one holo, then buying every 3rd pack after the one that did.

Anywho....if you go to your local gaming store, it's possible their box(es) have a pattern seperate from the ones I opened. Sometimes it can have variations from case to case. Using the 1 case I've opened thus far, if you find the 4 pack "pack reset" the 4th pack of the reset will likely have a Lv X. If it doesn't, then the box you're dealing with may well be completely different from the ones I opened unless it's like the box that gives me a slight headache in the video that is uploading now....

Oh my. You are truly skilled with this. I can tell you're very knowledgeable on this subject. I wish we had more unique talents like yours around PokeBeach, it's really cool that you've done this. I hope you keep on doing stuff like this in the future, I really enjoy your videos a lot. I'll be getting a Platinum: Arceus box myself tomorrow or the next day, so I'll take a crack at it myself (hopefully I understand it xP)

But yeah, great videos. Will sub. Thanks for posting these!

Anyway, I might try this if I decide to buy a box of PA.
 
I actually bought a quarter box today. There wasn't an X in the "reset" block of four, or in the next five packs. So the code definitely doesn't work on every box.

maybe you got a wierd box. he had a box where the x wasnt in where it was supose to be

I've uploaded the 1st box of the 2nd case...multiple parts...somewhat different from the first case.

I have 2 boxes opened....box 3 and 4 I opened (took off the wrapping) and got a headache when I saw the pack order so have some figuring out to do there. Box 5 and 6 are on hold for a couple other friends.

Thanks (I guess) to Mr.619 and Pokeman for helping with the first few case 2 vids....

I makes me feel better that there isn't a universal code. Basically this kind of thing is only useful if you get two boxes in the same production lot. You can predict where the stuff is in the second box. Or third.

The 3rd box in each case of Arceus is the devil :p
 
Looks like boxes 3/4 gave you a headache. Is it safe to say that box 3 and box 4 will have the same pattern? It appears they have the same resets.

Do you think that if i went to my local shop and bought the fourth pack after the beginning of the reset I would get a Lv X or does it vary?
