Awesome Quagsire. The -30 resistance is a smart choice as well, so I love it. Lv.98 was kinda funny. XD

Nice job on the Quagsire art, but the levels are one of my favourite things about this set.

Seconding the levels. One of my favourite things about this set is how PMJ adds these odd little quirks without making the cards too ridiculous. It's a proper set, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. Whenever I glance at the real sets I can't help but think they are all a little too formal and competitive, so Unsung Heroes makes a nice change from that.

I like Quagsire, but Dialga G is the only pokemon that would get the effect triggered I believe, unless you count Snowpoint, then the other SPs could, but still. Idk, I like it. Dopey charge lol. Dopey dopey dopey...

I gave some things with either an immunity or double resistance to any given type a -30 Resistance. Ariados has one, and so does Scizor. In fact, a lot of these Pokemon used to have -30 Resistances until I looked at a bunch of cards and realized that the maximum Resistance is -20; I couldn't find a single card (reprints excluded) with a -30 Resistance, even things that should have immunities like Ground-type cards.

I ask, why not? If you tried to Vine Whip an Ariados you would do 2 damage. Psychic against Bastiodon? Pittance. I see nothing wrong with -30 Resistance.

I have lots of fun creating these cards, and the levels are also something I like a lot. Levels are pretty worthless as far as mechanics go, but I did my best to create legitimate-looking levels anyway. The end result is the LV.98 Quagsire, the LV.9 Scizor, and the LV.3 Flareon you see before you. Seeing such ridiculous levels is a bit amusing, I think, and apparently y'all think so too, so yay :>

Having free reign over attack/power names is also great. Like Quagsire, a few cards have somewhat silly names designed only to make you laugh, and any time anyone gets a kick out of a name I've given something, I feel awesome too because I've done my job. ;D

Regarding the actual card: I wasn't really thinking about Snowpoint Temple when I wrote the attack. I just wanted it to be unique. However, considering that ST would push nearly every Pokemon SP over the limit, and my dislike for Pokemon SP in general, it was an awesome move and I'm glad I did it \o/

After Blaziken gets posted (hopefully tomorrow), there will probably be a delay in cards while Xous does some other artings he has promised to others, and Keshi finishes her undoubtedly sexy art.

However, I hope you all will check out my random fakes thread whenever I post there in the meantime using Xous's new avatar art :3

What level is Eevee going to be? I'd like to see it level down. :p

I'm currently writing (or at least trying to) a fanfic. You're whole "PokéBeach mod company" thing will be in my story (if it ever gets written). Also, these cards are so awesome they'll be in alongside real ones!

The cards are very good fakes in general. If only they were real. It's too bad they'll only see the light of images and text.

Why are people complaining about levels? Last I checked, it didn't affect a single thing on the card except the text lol

Quagsire made my day. From the art (more cool points for bacon) to the level to the attack effects and names... just a really cool card all-around. Fantastic job.

I'd laugh so hard if Eevee was at a higher level than all of its evolutions.

Blaziken is the only thing I have for you all today.

One of the things I tried to do is make every Pokemon's level so their evolved forms would not have a lesser level. Eevee is LV.3 due to this.

Idk if it has been said, but, the damage on Umbreon's first attack is backwards. it does 10+, but it says flip a coin and it does 20+10 if I am not mistaken.

I actually like Blaziken. Its attacks are a little expensive, but w/ some Felecities, you could do some noteworthy charging/discarding. Its body however is nice, a GREAT stall on a hurt Flygon. Its first attack is very good though, a solid 40 for one, or 60 for 1 w/ E. Belt. Props to you PMJ, props to you. I cannot wait to see its X.

I think it be pretty cool. The star in the body looks a little off, but I know how hard those things are to place. Boost Blaze is also a nice attack concept. I say I like.

Thanks, but don't feel like you have to bump this thread, lol. I have several cards already finished - I'm just waiting for art. Xous has a few other projects that he has offered his services for, so he's working on those in the meantime.

Keshi also has some undoubtedly nice artwork on the way as well.

Still waiting on those blanks, WPM!!!!! :[

Bastiodon can work well w/ DCE, I like it. Its 2nd attack is pretty power, just use damage reducers like Buffer Piece to make it like a weak attack then queen it off, but do 20 snipe to 3 guys. Dewgong has an unown G power, and its first attack is not bad. Its 2nd attack is really expensive though, 3 water+colorless for 80?

Regarding Dewgong, it's more space filler than anything else. I also wanted something other than the "3 for 60" a lot of the Stage 1s I make seem to have...

So instead you made 4 for 80! Lol. Its still 20 damage an energy, which is eh. Lol. Still like it though. When will there be more X? I really wanna see those.
