Why do people keep on telling me to put in rare candys instead of stage 1 pokemon?? I know if you have more then one stage 1 pokemon that are diffrent it's a good idea. But in my deck i only have in monferno's. So what the diffrence bewtween a rare candy or a stage 1?? Please help.

stage 1's aren't as fast as a rare candy. Think about this, would you rather be able to get a T1 infernape? Or a T2 Monferno? It just speeds things up a lot.

OOOOO you can only evolve a pokemon once during your turn?? Looks like i need to read up on the rules. LOL!!

yeah, you can only evolve the same pokemon once in a turn. for example, you couldn't evolve chimchar into monferno and then infernape the same turn. But with rare candy, you can completely skip monferno, and get infernape that much faster.

But its all on chance if you draw Rare Candy! Becuase Celios Network and other cards can pull out Monferno but not Rare Candy, so make sure you don't take out all your Monferno.

Let's say it's your turn and you put down the basic onto your bench. You also have a rare candy and Infernape on your hand. Can you use rare candy to evolve to Infernape on the same turn as when you just put down the basic.

Yes.
You can use Rare Candy/Wally's Training to evolve a basic that you just put down onto your bench.
You can also evolve by normal means a basic Pokémon on the same turn that it was played if the basic Pokémon that you just played has the Poké-Power: "Baby Evolution."

But you can't use Rare Candy to evolve a basic Pokémon that has "Baby Evolution" directly into a Stage 1 Pokémon (such as Electivire).
